This team may not be as impressive as an all Cowboy, Steelers, or Skins team but I am going to create a thread & tell me who your all time favroite was at that position for Atlanta. Let's start with QB. Who is your all time favorite QB & why?

...VICK is easily my choice...I'm basing it on on-field performance of course...but no player in Falcons history has ever made the impact on the Falcons fans and the city of Atlanta as much as VICK did...the Dome was electric and littered with #7 jerseys every sunday he suited up...you always felt that you might see something great happen, WIN or LOSE...the other guys were just Falcons starting QB's..the others may be better "character" guys as far as we know or maybe greater in the community but .#7 is easily the all time favorite, which is why so many Falcon fans are still holding on...

The greatest game played by a QB, that i attended, was the playoff game in New Orleans, Chris Miller against Bobby Ebert, Miller kept throwing bombs to Michael Haynes, Both QB's played great, Miller won. Ebert was the toughest and nicest of them all, the guy stood in the pocket took the hit delivered the ball and got up smiling.

The first preseason game Vick played in the Dome, Reeves had Vick sweep, it was one of the most amazing things i seen, Vick looped back about 20 yrds, then ran up the sideline 50 for a 30 yrd gain, the amazing thing was it looked like the LB's moved about 5 yrds. ( what a waste )

Chris Chandler dissecting the Minnesota D to put our asses in the Superbowl gets my pick.

I have to admit I was surprised to see Steve Bartkowski leading the way among the vote-getters for favorite Falcons quarterback.

Those were the old days at Fulton County Stadium. I remember being there when Bartkowski threw the Hail Mary at the end of the game to Billy "White Shoes" Johnson to give Atlanta a win over the 49ers.

I had to vote for Bartkowski. He hung in there for a while with some really bad teams.

Chris Chandler would probably be second.

Oh man I gotta show love to Steve Bartkowski, it was a tough choice Vick had some electrfying runs (Vikings 45 yd scamper, or the TD scored vs. the Panthers when he flipped head over heels to score) & as strong as his arm was he never thru that nice spiral on a play action pss the way Chandler did back in 99 to TMart. When I was a lad & started watching football Bart was a tough QB but man accurate 58% or better most years before we had a west coast offense. He was poised & accurate.

My least favorite was Jeff George...I will never forget his tirade on the sidelines with the spineless June Jones Sunday nite football vs. Philadelpia (I think). He was benched the rest of the season we did not trade him & inthe process we got rid of Brett the year before...........aaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Chris Chandler was my fav quarterback exspecially during that magical 98 run to a 14-2 record. Of coure the focule point was Jamal Anderson but Chandler managed the game as good as anyone and put us in some great situations to score. Boy do I miss those 98 Falcons. Terance Mathis, Tony Martin, Jamal Anderson, Bob Christian, Tim Dwight and Chris Chandler. Man those were the good times I tell you. I wish the Falcons would go back to there old unis exspecially the red ones.
