Ok, this may sound very strange but knowing the Radiers I could definantly see it happening.  After another season of turmoil and the Raiders pick in the top 10 yet agein  I see Lane Kiffin getting sacked...And for his replacement...Kyle Shanahan.  This would spark one of the most intriguing story lines in coaching history.  The reason I see it being, Al Davis knows he made a mistake letting Shanahan go and not making a shot at Kubiak.   Instead he went to Lane Kiffin and although I don't think hes a bad coach he just won't be their to long.  I see him offering Kyle a monster jaw dropping deal and him taking it.  I mean how weird would that be playing ageinst your own son twice a year three times if they make the playoffs...I mean Wow...  Just my thoughts considering Raiders switching to similar blocking tequniques that we use and are not afraid to go young at coaching positions.  Then I could definantly see the Broncos take a look at Lane Kiffin as a offesnive assistant or something like that.  So yes I forsee the Raiders in 2009 naming Kyle Shanahan their new head coach....Thanksgivings should be intresting at the Shanahan households...

I also forgot to add that, that would be pretty cool since it would be a family feud type of thing and get the competition REALLY heated up

Kyle is not that stupid!!! Al Davis treated Mike like crap and still owes him 250 large!! Kyle will have WAY better offers than the Raiders.

Think about it, would you go and work for the man that royally screwed your old man? And then be in direct competition with him?

Not to mention it is a crap organization that got turned down by something like 4 coaches before landing Kiffin. This is a league were you DO NOT TURN DOWN head coaching chances. Heck, most assistant coaches would sell their mothers into slavery to get a HC position. Yet, the Raiders had 4-5 people turn them down?

I'll make the Pro Bowl as a 40 year-old rookie QB before Kyle coaches the Raiders!!!

In 7 years if Mike has enough with the NFL, I would fall in love with the idea of landing Kyle Shanahan as the Broncos head coach! That would be sooo awsome!

No way. Shanahan has so much animosity towards Davis. I would be shocked if Kyle even considered it. Davis has been turned down by more that one coach in the past couple of years. The player situation is better but Al Davis remains.

Crispy I am pretty sure Davis owes Shanahan 500,000.

Its a ridiculous idea.  Forget all the comments about him accepting such a deal or not.   Kyle shannahan is at least 5 to 7 yaers away from even been offered a head coaching position.

Come on, Lane Kiffin only got the job because he was supposed to get fires after a year, which actually happened in case youre not aware, he just happened to be clever enough not to step down and requested Al Davis to fire him if he doesnt want him there anymore.  If he decides so, he would have to pay out his contract and then of course the salary o whoever comes in a s a coach.

Anyway, Kyle Shannahan will not be a coach anywhere in the near future.

That's the dumbest prediction I've heard since last year when you guys chanted for a playoff birth before preseason. You all suspect you know Davis' motives, but you don't. He wouldn't hire a family member for retaliation. In his mind, it would be retaliating against himself if he made such a poor choice at head coach. Why Kyle Shanahan of all people? Surely there are 1,000 other better HEAD coaches than one who hasn't even done much for the Texans. At least Kiffin was a coordinator on one of the most elite college teams in NCAA history and their offense was actually good.
