NOTHING MORE TO SEE HERE, HATERS!

The only ones who cheated were the employees of the BOSTON HERALD, NOT the Patriots.  Let's see what we've got here:

- goodell said that ti's OKAY TO TAPE DEFENSIVE AND OFFENSIVE SIGNALS, the only issue here was the location of the camera

- boston herald will get SUED by kraft & family for defamation - another "oops, we're the media, we messed up" moment from the local rag

- walsh had NOTHING we didn't already know

- if goodell insists this is permissable, then YES, plenty of other teams were doing this before the pats, during the time the pats were, and after the pats were done doing it

all you haters can go straight to hell.  get a life, losers!

The Boston Herald lowered itself to the reputation of The National Enquirer. They were so concerned with the "big scoop" that they didn't even bother to make sure the facts were accurate before printing the story. One could probably expect this from a newspaper in a rival city, but for this to happen in Boston is really despicable.  They should be ashamed. The apology is a little bit too late. As for Matt Walsh, he's nothing more than a disgruntled former employee who is trying desperately to create trouble. He's lower than pond scum. This issue needs to be put to bed, it's no longer news, it's old, tired news.

really, cwinner?  after all the pats-bashing that went on - now in retrospect we can say FOR NO REASON AT ALL - you're telling me i need  alife? after the entire country outside of new england latched onto a bogus story that had no merit, hoping Walsh would come forth and destroy the Patriots with some secret tape that would magically whisk away those three super bowl trophies?

you haters are pathetic.

"The rule which the Patriots violated was the policy that prohibits use of equipment for the taping of offensive or defense signals."

It is ILLEGAL to tape opposing teams signals. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The location of the camera DOES NOT matter.

It is not illegal to make game tapes (of the players NOT the coaches). This is where the location of the camera matters.

The Super Bowls will remain on the books but will forever be tainted by this fiasco. The more you cry that your beloved Pats did nothing wrong the more you stoke the flames.

Maybe if Belichick and Brady can win a Super Bowl without the benefit of knowing the offensive and defensive plays before they are run, they can start a new, untainted legacy. They are 0 for 1.

Just because they don't have evidence for one specific allegation does not mean that the Pats are 100% innocent here. They still cheated, got warned, cheated again, and got caught. Now i'm not saying that all the other teams don't do it, i don't know, all i do know is that the Pats DID dot it. So get over yourselves thinking that you are vindicated because of this, you are not. Your coach is a poor sport cheater who doesn't think the rules apply to him. So don't be like the Penguins fans that claim that Sidney Crosby is not a diver and a crybaby, or the Cubs fans that don't think that Carlos Zambrano's "Celebrations" aren't just a little bit over the top.

Your team has a blemish, it is undeniable, so stop trying to defend it.

If people tell me that Sean Avery is a jerk or a pest, i don't deny it, he is.

Remember, proof of "innocence" is not always true. OJ got away with murder!

I was thinking more in line withy the fact that you let the haters get you all riled up and you make it seem like the opinions of other sports fans on a message board have a major impact on your life.

cwinner - after listening to the whining, moaning, and complaining for months, yes, it's nice to say "I told you say" months later.  you're on these boards too, so don't kid yourself.
