Malkin really does not like the Flyers. He will play with extra motivation. Crosby will find his touch again, and the Penguins will endure the many cheap shots and complaining Philly fans to win this series in 6.

Biron is simply not as good as the lack of Montreal offense made him out to be.

If the Pens play like they are capable of, they should win this series.

But it will be close and could easily go seven games.

The Penguins should win this series easily. The X factors that bother me about the Flyers is that they have a lot of momentum right now, and they hate the Penguins. Then Pens managed to avoid the Flyers in the first round, but it is like fate has brought us here. After that extremely heated game in December, it shows that fate has a bad sense of humor to bring these two teams together in the conference finals. I say Penguins in five, but hopefully they all make it out in one piece.

I'd love to see the Pens close this one out quickly, but I expect a tougher battle. Both teams seem improved since the end of the regular season. The Pens have shown they can bang the bodies and shut down their opponents. If the Flyers are expecting to see a Pens team that resembles the one they faced in the regular season, they will be in for a rude surprise.

The Penguins will beat the Flyers in 6.  Martin Biron is the only thing I am worried about.  The weak Canadiens offense did make him look better than he is but he played very well during the Capitals series too.  However, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and company should expose him as an average goalie.  MAF has to stay hot.  A hot goalie is needed to win in the playoffs.
