"You relied on Hill and Lilly last year and both are regressing as predicted."
Do you even watch baseball? Lilly has won 3 straight, including the last two over Dan Haren and Jake Peavy, here's an update for your baseball knowledge.

"Now that a decent book is out on Fukudome, hes not all that impressive."
Kosuke Fukudome .322 BA, .419 OBP, 29 runs scored... 3 for 5 last night with 2 runs scored against Peavy... you're right, not impressive, they've got him figured out!
"Soriano hitting leadoff will kill your offense never mind that he is probably the worst LF in the division."
Haha... I've seen Braun falling all over the place out in LF (Florida series), including dropping that fly ball last night that led to another unearned run.... and your leadoff hitter is hitting .190 so I'll point you back to the initial link on Soriano. He's now hitting .250 and has more HRs than Rickie playing about 2/3 of the games. If he's a problem, then I think we're going to be alright.
"If you want to pretend that the Cubs are that great, why are four teams with in four games of them."
Because it's freakin MAY! Take a look around baseball, it's pretty difficult to be more than 4 games out at this point. That has no reflection on the Cubs, who sit with the 2nd best record in baseball, only to the team they just swept.
By the way, if you want to talk about problems, you might want to look at your closing situation. Nice CHOKE JOB last night!

So once again, if excuses are for losers, and the Cubs have failed embarassinly in thier attempt to win a series for the last 100 years, what does that make the Cubs?

That makes the Cubs one better than the Brewers who have never won the series. Even more "embarassinly", as you put it, the Brewers haven't even been able to field competitive teams for most of a quarter century, let alone playoff contenders. I guess nothing changes... have fun in 4th place and try not to blow another save today when Sheets puts you in position to win.

... been on the board all week, just started a new thread because people were crying about the Cubs-Brewers bashing in the thread about Irish's treatment from the fans at MP... you're just miserable and looking for something to complain about.

Some advice: don't start threads on a rival team's board, especially if you're just doing it to antagonize them.
And, um, hi, we've never met before... not really sure what makes you think I'm miserable.

Is not a "in comparison to" question. By the way, do you realize the you making excuses not to anwer the question makes you a loser by your own definition.
