Edina's road crews are unbelievable, it's like they have a dedicated army! It's the temperature issue that remains unsolved...
Edina is God's country, it's a pretty interesting place, having grown up in other areas of North America.
I'm not Scandinavian, while I've dated a few, which is a good call. So that's a no-go, dude. Sorry.
I didn't know you lived in Edina NateO. Edina is home to the Minnesota Made Ice Arena, which was one of the host sites to teh Minnesota Meltdown AAA Hockey Tournament a few weeks ago. My friends son played in it and my son will likely be on a team that will play in it next year. Very high level of youth hockey at that tourney, really fun to watch. The MN Made arena is a really nice facility as well.

Yes, I graduated high school from Edina High, and Word Jocky is correct about the eye-candy factor. I was also on the '92 State Champion Alpine Ski team:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Minnesota_State_High_School_Leag ue_State_Championships_(Winter)#Boys_Alpine_Skiing
The southern Minneapolis suburbs crank out a ton of hockey talent, Edina not being an exception, that is a high school hockey town, through and through.
There probably is nice facilities, there's a ton of cash-money in that town! One old Minnesota joke is that Edina has so much cash that their football players where silk jerseys, making them even slicker than the competition. Edina's also home to the first U.S. enclosed shopping mall, Southdale:
http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=1249
Not exceptional or really worth seeing, except it's the first. There's a story about the Dales in Edina, but I can't remember it, nor do I care to Google it.
Strange town, no bars, heavily democratic/socialistic in spite of the money factor. And when we moved there (from Toronto) the neighbors (Country Club area) chastised us for taking the trash to the curb on pickup day. The good tax payers of Edina don't want to look at trash on their streets, so you open your garage door in back and the garbage men get out of the truck walk their butts back there and retrieve it for you, then put the trash can back in the garage! Who knew?
Blue Christmas lights in Edina are not recommended, either.

I live in a small door between the known and the unknown....
Well, maybe not a door per se, it's kind of a arch. And it has a little ledge for me to sit and watch.... on either side

My "permanent" (family's) residence is New Berlin, WI. But I live in Madison now, and really have no intention of moving away after college. At least not very far away.
