Hey skins fans just here to talk some football for the upcoming season and while i think you guys had a great draft. I just think theres too many ?s with this team. Im not saying yall wont be a tough team cause well ya play in the toughest division in football and there always competive. I just dont know if the QB can learn the new system fast enough how will the 2 great rookie WR fit in as well as how will the coach do? I really cant answer these questions as well as you cant however as it stands right now i cant say if you will finish first or last in the division. In my opinion (for now that is) i think you will go 7-9 only cause too many ?s however i will say that you have the potential to go 9-7 as well so ya never know tell me what ya think? good luck this season

Well Giants Fan,

First congrats on the SB, I was pulling for you.

Second, the above synopsis is assumed correct but isn't that our story every year before the season starts? I mean, either no one knows what we'll do or they pick us to win the division and we really stink then.

It will be hard for the Giants to repeat that Cinderella playoff run next year...???? back at ya

Thanks for the unbias perspective.  I agree, I see the team going as low as 7-9 or as high as 10-6.  This team has a lot of potential to do really well, but again, there are a lot of questions and with the way we did so poorly a couple of years ago and did so well the year before that and so bad before that, you never know.

The only true solonm that I have is there is no way that the offense can be worse or the same.  The play calling was all over the place.  We have more tools in place to make the offense better.  Yes, a new system, but it never seemed that Saunders system really took off.  With that said, I believe that the new system Zorn is installing is not only a WCO, which will help exploit or playmakers more by spreading the ball, but since it is new, it will be taylored to Jason Campbells strengths.  There have been talks of a zone running scheme which is better suited for Clinton Portis.  I don't think I even need to mention the potential positive implications of having Malcolm Kelly, Devin Thomas, and Fred Davis, to compliment Chris Cooley, Santana Moss, and ARE.

The defense worries me more.  I hope they stay relatively healthy because depth at the DB and LB concern me.  Overall though they should still be a top ten unit.

we have all the talent on offense to put up some great numbers.  Let's see if the coaching staff can pull something together to use it in the right way.  Barring injuries, I see things fit well in the WCO, and maybe one or two of the rookies will get worked in by midseason.

like almost eveyteam, QB will dictate how well we do. Last year, Campbell's weakness was when had to make quick decisions, which is what you have to do in WCO. Everything revolves around him, and thank god we got Zon cus lets face it, campbell would not have evolved too well with gibbs putting a leash on him. He was a lets go with veterans coach

If Campbell gets comfortable with the offense the sky in the limit for the offense.  The rookie WR's will make a difference for Campbell, they are both bigger than the smurfs they had the past few years and I think Zorn will take a lot more chances than Gibbs did with the passing game. I am excited about the new philosophy the Skins will have attacking defenses this year.  I am worried about when everyone will get on the same page, it may take half the year to gel and get it all clicking.  The division will be as tough as ever, all the teams have a chance to make the playoffs, the division is the toughest in the league.

If anything Campbell will be one heck of an OC down the line with his playbooks he has had to study since Auburn.  Saying this, I do not think it will bother him if he gets the reps in practices.  He is old hat in terms of learning new systems and the WC is one he could grasp quickly.

It has to be easier than learning 700 pages of offense.  I agree it will take a couple weeks or months to get it. But I am confident he will get it and thrive.  I would bet it is an offense that is conservative like it was in 06 in terms of making Campbell decide things, but at the same time, he was thriving in the weeks before he was hurt.

Shall see.

Giants fan,

Thank you for saving the universe from the Evil Empire Pats last season!

I like the direction that the skins are headed but there are too many key moving parts that are new this year to set expectations too high. With good luck and good health we could win 10+ games. With bad luck and bad health we could drop 10+ games. Overall 8-8 is a safe pre-season prediction.

from whati've read from the mini camps the skins are enjoying learning this new system.they players are more relaxed and haveing fun.i think  we will be a very good team this year.they will be runninng a scheme were portis should get good yards and force the d's to stack the box.therefor opening up the pass game.with these big wr's we have now, true they are just rookies, but i believe they will be a difference maker.jc has they weapons now he just has to get it all in place.i think o will take the pressure off the d this year makeing the close games we lost last year ,winable this year. i say 10-6 isn't out of reach.

1.redskins 11-5

2.cowboys

3.giants

4.eagles

In that order!   Zorn will have the best start of any rookie head coach.  Campbell will be lights out.  Portis will be a pro bowler again.  Cooley will have hi
