Of course the former assistant does not recall the conversation because that would mean he would have to take responsibility for what he did. As I have said before, Belicheater should be banned from the league and the Patriots should have to forfeit any game in which they cheated. So much for the "genius" that is Bill Belichick. Anyone can have a dynasty if they are cheating to do it.

including the steroid ridin Steelers of the 70's...take all of their superbowls away and give them to the rightful owners the Raiders...........Figures a steelers fan would believe the words of Matt Walsh, the guy is a complete fraud and proven lier..can you say walkthrough tapes?? no because THEY DON'T EXIST.....he's a lier and you still believe him over a coach that has WAY to much to lose if he lied, not a surprise ........

That's funny fatty, you say about the steroid ridden Steelers of the 70's when some raider players died of what was believed to be side effects from steroids in the 80's. I don't know of any steeler players who have.

This is really a snoozer of a story... why the heck would he ever "remember" anything unless he was trying to cut a deal for himself. To think he would just come out and blast the Patriots and Belichick for no good reason is humorous at best.

Can't this just end? The guy said it didn't happen conspiracy theorists, then it didn't happen! Every fan of every team the Patriots have beaten are now coming out of the woodwork attempting to undermine the Patriots achivements. They admitted to taping the Jets signals and went on to win,oh how many more games, ALL BUT ONE without any taping. This is why Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire won't admit they used steroids, Clemens also, because idiots of losing teams now have a chance to blame their teams lack of success on "cheating". People say that if these baseball guys admit to using steroids, they will be forgive, but clearly would not be the case as evidenced by the Patriots. People want todrag it on and on until their own team finally wins something......

Please. 18-1 is pretty impressive. They are likely to make a run at it again this year. And if teams knew sign stealing was happening you can rest assured they will change them if they haven't already. People ignore to much just to make broad based statements. They cheated, they lied and they got caught.
I'm a Pats fan and I think they should have fired BB, but I can't stand hearing people grandstand and blow this up more than it is. People make the leap in saying that they were able to make something of the signs.
The worst part of this is that the reputation of the game is tainted.

I agree with fatty. Lets start a petition. Steelers 1 SB, Raiders 7 SB. I like the sound of that. lol
That would actually more than double our trophies.
I hate the Pats too, but theyre good. Get over it. Other teams tape signals too, just not from the sidelines. So in my opinion CHEATING is actually too strong a word for what they did. What would have been cheating, is if they did in fact tape the Rams SB walkthrough. That would be unforgivable. But that was all a lie, even Walsh said there are no walkthrough tapes. The only thing he brought to the table was more of the same thing. They have already been caught, and punished for that. So why drag it out any further?
Bitter fans, you cant cry your way into changing history. The Pats won I'm just as pissed about that as you.

Name one Raider that died of steroids. I dont know of any. I know Lyle Alzado said he thought his tumor was caused by his roid use, however his doctor said that was impossible. So who are these players you speak of?

Mike Webster is the first one that comes to mind...you are correct about some former raider players dying from complications of prolonged steroid use, but the 70 Steelers were the team that the rest of the NFL fed off of, they were widely known as the team that started to use it the most.......MIke Haslett said that in an interview about his playing days, using sterouids and the impaclt a team like the Steelers had on his decision to use...,
