Red Sox vs. Brew' Crew, Game ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crew should be doing better this year with their lineup.  I hear their young players have so much potential.  Why can't they acheive?  Is the pitching that much better in the NL?

Because there are 'holes' in the lineup currently occupied by Bill Hall and Mike Cameron.  Also, Rickie Weeks has combined with Hall and Cameron and all 3 of them are batting under .200 currently.  Braun is raking and Corey Hart is playing great baseball (leads the NL in AVG w/RISP) but because of some weaker points in the lineup, the Brewers are having a hard time getting anything going. 

Ah, yes the 'good old days'. Difference was back then we all EXPECTED them to suck.  When a hitter had an average of .200, or a pitcher had an ERA over 6.00, it was because he was a bad player - no further explanation required - just direct your hatred towards the cheapskate ownership.

In many ways, the current team is more difficult to deal with. For all our supposed talent, our record is 103-100 since the start of 2007. If it looks like a .500 ballclub and quacks like a .500 ballclub................

At some stage you have to look at a teams' record, and conclude that that is what the team is.  

well here's a couple Brew' fans.. how goes it citron ! and you also Badge'... good team ya have there... should be a greeat series... Red Sox aren't playing well right now but we have a 14-5 home record and maybe that's what the doc' ordered

Well, the weather should be much better tomorrow.  Lets play 2!  I'll be starting a Brewers/Red Sox All Day Baseball Thread.

Sucks, I was really looking forward to this game and this series.  But 2 tomorrow will suffice.  (Sorry Citron, hopefully you can catch some of the games)

This sucks, while the first game will be broadcast on the Fox, the second game is not scheduled to air tonight.  Looks like i will be listening to Bob Uecker tonight instead...
