Can we start showing some respect now?

The Cleveland Indians deserve your respect.

I am sure if Boston or NY was having a stretch like the Indians you guys would be slobbering all over these boards.

 Let's see here what the Indians have done in recent memory shall we?

We take down the AL Champion Detroit Tigers to win the AL Central.

We Take down  Yankees 3-1 in the ALDS.

We take the two time World Series champs to the 7th game of the ALCS.

Oh and by the way the Indians starters have now pitched 51 innings without giving up an earned run.

Indians have 5 SHUTOUTS in their last 8 games and lead the league with 7!

We turn the 14th unassisted triple play in Major League history last week.

This was the record third unassisted triple play by a Cleveland fielder.

Indians shortstop Neal Ball made the first one in history, in 1909. Cleveland second baseman Bill Wambsganss turned the only one in the World Series, in 1920 during a Game 5 win over Brooklyn.

Nobody ever doubted the Indians pitching-and I think Borowski going down was a blessing in disguise.

They are still having some issues scoring runs of their own though-only ahead of KC in that department in the division.

They should win the central fairly easily though.

That was great wasn't it. Such a rare thing to see. The Indians have respect from me. Ever since "Major Leauge" it seems as if they've had a chip on their sholder and want to win.
