Wow this is a great day to be choke hawk. KU will be stripped of the National title, just seen it today. They say it will take up to 60days to come up with all the findings and to see who will be crowned the rightful National Champ. LOL KUkid is GAy

I must admit I feel genuine pity for all of you anti-KU fans out there who care more about what we are doing that you do about your own team. Look at you Choke Hawk, you have an anti KU name and avatar so you obviously care more about us than you do your own team.
As for the issue..errr.. non issue, we aren't getting stripped of the title, sorry. But please come back to this forum when they clear Kansas of all wrong doing and admit your pathetic existence still revolves around what the Jayhawks are doing.

Excellent post SSB. You said it well. High five. He is one of the few, the sad, the pathetic. You may notice he hasn't been around for quite awhile. Curious things down in Dallas. Releasing a students transcript is against the law. It happened so many years ago. I can't help but wonder why the station waited until now to bring this up? Could they be looking for some major pub? Duh! Certainly their reason isn't altruistic.

I don't know about you guys but I'm blown away by the intelligence of choke hawk's post.
"Just seen it today"....."KUkid is GAy".......I don't know how anyone could possibly respond to such educated statements.
This whole thing will be forgotten very soon. It's hardly getting any national attention. I watched PTI today and they pretty much laughed at the notion that KU could even possibly be held responsible for this. But.....if it gives our K-State and Mizzou friends a little thread of hope to hang onto for a few days, then whatever. Have your fun now because when the season starts we won't be hearing anything from them....but until then, at least get on here and post something intelligent that we can actually debate, otherwise you sound like a jacka**.

U would be stupid enough not to read the whole story tigerfan420....it was in high school and that was up to the principle and teachers at the school...and the ncaa cleared him to play so blame the teachers and principle and the ncaa on this one. As far as Choke Hawk any one see that he has a Kansas Jayhawk in his favs on his profile

Damn it feels good to be a hawk hater right now. It's great to see that all you hawk fans haven't forgot how rally around your team. Although your beloved hawks are gonna need a lot more support in the up and coming months. First there going to take away all of 2007-2008 accomplishments. (including the NCAA title) Then next yr starts, the 2008 Jayhawks will be terrriable! And when I come on here I'll you'll have to fall back on is even though the NCAA took the title from us where still the champs. Wait another 20yrs for the next chance cheat your way to a title.

Hearing the story break on 610 sports with Chris and Cryboy, they entertained with a segment from one of the KU assistant athlethic directors, ? Marciano. This was in an effort to give credence to a story, denying any KU malfeasance, and providing some background information as to what the NCAA might do in response to the situation.
Marciano used to work for the NCAA and currently serves as a reported assitant AD at Kansas. Maybe someone should track all of his phone calls prior to the Orange Bowl and the gracious red carpet treatment into the final four. Someone at KU is in bed with NCAA officials.
I doubt if anything is ever tied back to KU on this particular matter mainly due to these questionable affiliations.

How many days has it been and still not much national attention on this subject. Let me guess.........No one really cares. It has nothing to do with KU it has to deal with the math teacher who "mightve" bumped his grade. Thats why the NCAA doesnt really give a rats ass about it (they wouldve done some research if it were to strip a national title from the recent champs). Oh and the deal about Marciano the key words are "Marciano USED to work for the NCAA" and that means he doesnt work for the NCAA anymore. He had no way in hell of getting the jayhawks a red carpet treatment. If anyone would have had a red carpet treatment it wouldve been the tarheels who got most of there tournament games in there OWN state. Your telling me that we got the red carpet treatment for having 2 creampuffs for the first 2 rounds just like any other 1 seed? thats just stupid. We beat Davidson which is such a smaller school compared to most big colleges had bought everyone of there students tickets making it more of a home game for them and who also beat the number 2 georgetown in our bracket and Curry was making every single shot? I guess North Carolina was a cream puff too......they must have because we beat the "tar" out of them. Memphis was worthless too. I guess we had an easy road to our championship and all the haters can do is bring up our third or fourth best players math grade from his senior season in high school. Did he graduate high school last year? no. So why would it even matter if he did get his grade bumped? Did that have anything to do with last year? no. Did it have anything to deal with this year. Definately not! Oh and get it right it goes Rockkkkkk Chalkkkkkk Jayyyyy Hawwwwwwwk KKKKKKK UUUUUUUUU!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Ill take our national championship and you can keep complaining about some highschool b.s.

The NCAA clearing house cleared Arthur to play two years ago before he even enrolled at Kansas. Keep digging. A disgruntled teacher who was FIRED from his high school is just looking for some sensationalist story to tell and fools like you eat it up.

If this story was such a big deal, why did it take till his sopmore year for the story to come out. Get real people. The National Championship of 08 belongs to Kansas. I cannot believe some of the threads I've read. The NCAA let Arthur play for the Hawks. Get over it guys. I'm Illini born but Jayhawk breed as one of our (KU) great coaches said about his past.

the only reason that shady is gettin hit now is he made someone mad after they won the tourney, so why not bring all of this up now? make the hawks look terrible. it happens every year to who ever the champ is. someone from a players old high school or an old friend brings up a drugs or grades scandal that happened to long ago to make a difference now.

Thats if it is even true, I haven't heard anything else about it after the story broke. Someone was just trying to have their 15 minutes of fame, but I live in Memphis and I can't go one day without a stupid Memphis fans saying that KU cheated and should be stripped of the title. Like Ron White said, "You can't fix stupid".
Before, it was how Memphis just handed KU the title and KU did nothing to earn it, that is real classy. I have had to hear it all year how Memphis was the best team and no one else was close. I don't say anything, I just wear my National Championship stuff proudly.
