I guess sweeping the Tigers right now seems like no big deal but it is. Our pitchers dominated them. They were supposed to score 1000 runs this year. Somebody tell Goo Goo that Hochevar can pitch. Guillen is starting to hit. Please baseball Gods. Let the Royals hit. I don't know about everybody else but I'm optimistic. The AL is maudlin so far. The AL Central is wide open. This Royals team ain't great but its not bad. It seems Trev can manage. Buddy never did. We got pitching this year Royal fans. Now hit guys! Go Royals! Heck, a winning streak and the KC Royals are in the division lead. And we've won four straight already.

Markstaff, I love the enthusiasm!  With our pitching and defense, there's no reason why we can't compete for the division this year if we can just get some consistant offense.  And I mean consistant, not 8 runs one game and 3 over the next 4 games.  That's not going to cut it.

Guillen is heating up, Billy is seeming to find the gaps a little better, Olivo hits for extra bases when he gets in the line-up.  Now just put it all together for a few months and we're right in it!

It's looking pretty good so far, but I'm not going to get overly excited about contention until at least the all star break.  If they're still in contention then, I'll start to worry about it.  It would be nice, though, if they could compete all season, and maybe get in.

Five in a row now.  Streaking Royals are looking good.  Even Tomko pitched well.  Unfortunately, Soria gave up two runs tonight, but still nailed down the save.  Guillen is finally showing some consistent life.  This could get really fun and interesting!  Go Royals!
