hello ,yutz ! since you were kind enough to reply to my ACC thread, I will return the favor.

My favorite all-time play involves the greatest game in Clemson History, the 1981 National championship against Nebraska.

with just a 7 point lead and 6 minutes left against a formidable Mike Rozier-lead Husker team, Tiger QB Homer Jordan converted a 3rd and 23 by breaking loose on a broken play and stretching to gain the 1st down. When the Huskers got the ball back 3 plays later there were only 6 seconds left and Clemson had joined the fraternity of National champs ! I still get teary-eyed.....

(LJ Cracks 2K= Michigan State @ Penn State-2002.)  Sophomore year in H.S... the day after our state playoff game, witnessed history! LJ became just the 9th' back to gain 2,000 yards in 'FBS' history.. And he did it with a touchdown. He also broke Nebraska's Mike Rozier's record of 7.8 yards per carry! (LJ Had over 270 yards.. BY HALFTIME!!! NO LIE!)! It was about 34 degrees in November, Earlier in the day Mo  Clarett & OSU beat scUM to advance to the Fiesta Bowl & MSU's Do errything WR, Charles Rogers was pretty much a no show!

MLB Mike Anderson four straight stuffs into the middle of the line at the LSU 1 ydline,  against preseason ranked #1 Notre Damm @ LSU. Stuffs came early in game, set the tone. Final score: LSU 28 Notre Dame 8

South Carolina's kicker had smashed every field goal that he had attempted that evening and had Florida on the ropes behind by 1, 17-16. With only 9 seconds left on the clock, the kicker (whose name I still can't remember) stepped twice, hammered the football. The camera went to follow the ball but all of the sudden: Where was the ball? Florida defensive end Jarvis Moss had forgotten to clip his finger nails that day and had subsequently blocked the game winning field goal for South Carolina and gave Florida the ability to make the run to the 2006 National Championship. Here is the clip:

I don't know about best play for Michigan overall, but one of the most amazing that I have ever seen in person was when Woodson went up high to make a one-handed pick at MSU.  The QB was trying to throw the ball away and there was no way that ball should have been caught.  To get up that high, make a one handed grab and still get a foot in bounds showed what a phenomenal athlete he was.

I agree with espnman. I was an 11 year old not realizing what I was watching take place. That game was insane, it may not have been much of a game. The rush he got the 2,000 was.... Guys, I may not be the fastest person in the world, but heck, I could've ran through that hole.

UL's  "shizle - mo -dizzle" play. The one where the cheerleaders yell" Look out dawgs" while the QB takes the snap. Then the QB hands it off to the Defensive End.
