There should be a big " * " next to every win this cheating squad got. If it they really taped the other teams signals, trained a reserve player to steal them from accross the field and then "feed" that info to C. Weiss, who then called plays in using this info...................then none of it counts, they are no dynasty, just common cheaters, and maybe Tom B ain't all that special, just think what Dan Marino could have done if somebody was giving him the defenses plays. And don't even try to say it made no difference, even a player leaning in such a way that the QB can tell its gonna be man coverage is huge, just think if he knew if it would be man or zone, where the blitz would come from................................... and so on. Plain and simple, the NFL will lose credibility if they don't further punish the Pats and that overrated Bilicheat. The new commish is full of $hit, he wants to run players out of the league cause they are thugs, but wants to sweep $hit like this under the rug. I say no, and personally I'm ready to quit watching and supporting the NFL if in fact this gets swept under the rug. Real men would rather lose than cheat, and I'd rather lose football every sunday than support such BS.

The NFL will not lose any further credibility. The Patriots were adequately punished.
What do you know about "Real Men" using the screen name of a mass murderer? Real men wouldn't use it.
How many games did the Patriots tape this year? 1 quarter of 1 game.
How many games did they win this year without taping? 18. All but the most important one (and the Giants deserved it btw).
Do you think anyone was using the same signals against the Patriots this year that they used last year? Nope. Teams change up signals all the time.
How did they do it? What other conspiracy theory can you come up with next?
Do you think the reason Goddell is sweeping it under the rug is he knows other teams were doing it too?

where do you get off personally attacking someone just for stating the truth about those frauds. why do you think Troy Brown looked like a good cover corner for them? or a seventh round backup college qb suddenly becomes football jesus in new england. we may be seeing the tip of the iceberg to one of the biggenst scandals in sports history, and i'm sick of hearing people like you downplay its signifigance. It's true that film study and "gamesmanship" are a part of the nfl, but not to this extent. it worked for years, but now it's over. did it ever occur to you that the have libraries somewhere of these tapes, and that this years almost unbeaten season was the culmination of all of these deceitful tactics? or how in the 2004 playoffs, they held the #1 offense(Colts) to 3 points, and then put up 41 on the #1 defense (Steelers) the following week with an injury ravaged team? this plan wasn't fool proof, but it was pretty close. it is important, nobody can deny it anymore.

Jay and any other people trying to explain the situation to someone who knows nothing about the game...why waste your time? People will always believe the Pats cheated, depsite the fact that other teams steal signs in football...but there isn't a way to possibly time to decipher them and use them during the game. And for anyone to claim it was used this year proves their ignorance or they doubt the intelligence of a pro football coach. You honestly think every team in the league kept their signals after what happened?! The Pats went 18-1 because they were a good football team. They lost the super bowl because the Giants were a better football team. End of story. Walsh's credibility is suspect and it's been proven sevral times in the past week. The Patriots broke the rules and the Pats got burned with the worst penalty in NFL History. All the conspiracy nuts should go back to their bunkers (or mom's basement) and go study some old JFK tapes or something...
As for Arlen Specter...if he cared about the sanctity of sports, why didn't he open a congressional investigation into the allegedly gambling and point fixing performed by an NBA referee? Because he is pandering to his constituents. Here is a novel idea for our good senator: 1) Fix the oil crisis 2) Help fix the mortgage crisis and quit wasting MY and everyone else's tax money on friggen sports!

It's a well known fact that all teams steal signs, that's why there are more than one guy sending them in....
besides...they'll be hardly any signs anymore anyway...One perosn on D will be wearing the headset like a QB next year anway.
And the Patriots will still win 12 games...bank on it

If you knew anything about football, you'd know that any coach SO foolish as to retain and USE the same signals in two back to back GAMES, let alone SEASONS isn't worth the price of the gum he chews on the sidelines. Here's an idea---a sixth round draft pick becomes a football legend by a little thing called LEARNING. It didn't happen overnight, and never does. He LEARNED from the best in the game, Drew Bledsoe, for 3 years. THEN, he LEARNED from the coach who made the offense simple enough for him to be extremely proficient in. A coach who made the offense SO simple that the #1 defense in the league at the time thought it was too good to be true and got beat. The same coach who happens to be a defensive GENIUS from years back with a team called the Giants, so maybe he knows a thing or two about how to beat the defense.
And did it ever occur to you that ALL teams have LIBRARIES of game tape. Library....strange....its an institution of um, learning.
