ok how about some actual talk about the Bears in the bears talk thread. lets talk about the draft...i think their first day was terrible....a finesse lt with a bad back on a team that wants to be a power rushing team....he lets the lt from last year (tait?) move to rt (in theory...ill explain later) which should help a little but i just dont see williams being anything more than an "good" lt and he could be much worse....he reminds me of a softer smaller Robert Gallery...matt forte in the second? really? he played against two decent teams this year...mississippi state(14-47-1) and LSU(16-73-0)....does rushing for 300 yards in a game really mean anything when its against southeastern louisiana?....6-1 224 4.45 speed....sounds like cedric bensons stunt double to me....but now for the part i hate....i think the bears had the best second day of anyone in the draft....earl bennett was my number 1 rated wr going into the draft.....if they can find anyone to throw him the ball he will be incredible....a poor mans Marvin Harrison....marcus harrison is a top 20 talent from a pure football p.o.v. he has some baggage but heck this is the nfl 75% of the players do....craig steltz is better than archuleta right now.....zack bowman is a great talent (top 5 cb in pure talent)if he can overcome his injuries....kellen davis is a freak athlete, line him up with olsen in a double tight end set and its trouble for any defense from a match up stand point....kirk barton will probably end up starting at rt as a rookie and be there for 6-8 years(hes more capable of stepping in right now than williams imo leaving tait at lt for now)....marcus monk....i seriously love this guy....6 51/2 220 lbs 4.3 something at his pro day good hands, blocks, plays tough, goes after the ball....i think he could end up being the best pick in this entire draft......i hate saying all these nice things about the bears draft...luckily for me the last time i really liked the bears draft was 2003 and only tillman and briggs turned out as good (actually better) than i expected
