Is it possible to have and INTELLIGENT convo??

I'm just wondering is it possible for the MLB message board to have an intelligent conversation about baseball??? I'm a die-hard Yankees fan and love talking baseball, but I just can't do it here at the MLB home...Reading all these threads is absolutely ridiculous!!! I mean how old are you guys?? All your threads are exactly the same...

Red Sox > Yankees....Rivera > Papelbon...You guys talk about Jon Lester's no-no, then it just becomes the same thread over and over and over again...Don't you guys get bored of talking about the same thing...

Where is the intelligence??? I guess its only over at the NHL board, where I mostly post, because its actually good, fun conversation!!! I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, but you guys make the board alot less fun...

I'll admit it...Red Sox > Yankees....Thats it!!! There is no need for elaboration and stupidty...It's a facrt!!! Talk about the game and not stupidity and I'm pretty sure it will be a better place to talk!!!

And its funny cause its both parties headed by morons....Rock-Strongo and Silverword are the ring leaders....Post intelligently, please....Why not start one day at a time???

There's too many douche bag chowds on the board.

And shying away from the Red Sox-Yankees teams... PH is captain of a team of one in the same category. At leas the Sox and Yanks fans on these boards occasionally show some love for their own team, and don't just hate on the other. PH... is filled with the bitter fluid of rancor and hate, and it bursts out of him like a popped balloon at all times.

Then why come on this board?

So..... what do you wish to talk about? Since there is no current topic, I will throw out a congrads to Jon Lester. he is the one and only Red Sox that I find myself able to cheer for. there has been tons of Cancer in my family and its always nice to see a success story like this........ and dang what a game he threw..... my only  statment other than that is 130 pitches seems a bit high..... had to leave him in, but what was the cost? hopefully just a litte soreness today.

I will also take this opportunity to disagree with your first post. The Red Sox are not > than the Yankees....... their current record is better....... but I will never agree that they are better.....

Manny Acta. Was he the reason for the awesome Mets team chemistry and success in the 06 season? He's even got a team like the Nats, with little in the way of hope for the present OR future and a team full of players thuggish enough to play for the Bungles or Jailblazers (sorry Elijah Dukes, but its true), acting like "softball" players.

I personally think Acta knows how to manage a clubhouse better than almost anyone in baseball. He proved he could do it with veterans, under the spotlight in NY, and with young guys in obscurity in Washington. Can't have two more dichotomous situations than that. And since thats the primary job of a manager... you get the picture. I just think that the Mets had a ton of success because they played together as a team, and I think he was the catalyst for that bonding.
