If we can get Jason Taylor via a trade we need to do it now!! The one position we are inconsistent at has a chance to get addressed so go for it Al. We have spent almost 200 mill on players that for the most part haven't proven anything so let's win baby and make this happen!

Right... lets pick up a guy who is past his prime and will cost us at least $16 million over the next 2 years (that's what his current contract is)... gimme a break. Burgess, Edwards, Richardson and Scott will ALL be able hold down the fort at DE. If you wanted to drop that kind of money and picks on someone, then why not pick up Tommie Harris or Albert Haynesworth?

Hell no!
Why are you gonna wanna go after a guy that would sign the contract and a day later stand up and declare, " I wanna dance!"?
Not to mention the amount of money he'd want and what the Fins would expect in return for him. Oh yeah, and his age deserves some attention, too.
FK that.

Oh, and I forgot to mention....what about Nnamdi?
What do you guys propose that Al Davis do? Grab Taylor and franchise tag him? How do you think Nnamdi would feel about signing yet ANOTHER over-the-hill player for some big money while he gets no long-term deal?
And spare me the whole, "A deal will get worked out for Asomugha" crap. Until that happens, he's not locked up for longer than a year (assuming he signs the tender or whatever it's called and doesn't get p*ssed).

&nbs p; Right... lets pick up a guy who is past his prime
Just wondering what you guys call past his prime? He has 117 career sacks.
2000 14.5 sacks
2001 8.5 sacks
2002 18.5 sacks
2003 13 sacks
2004 9.5 sacks
2005 12 sacks
2006 13.5 sacks
2007 11 sacks
And he did this on some bad teams. He still can play and would allow others like Kelly or Burgess to get to the QB. This man is in GREAT shape and has a few years left on him. JMO

nothin 4 nothin, & personal bias aside, taylor, is a viable asset, that could probably be had cheap !! despite this dancing bullshi* . he's obviously on parcell's s*** list, & can be had for under " market" value. wtf ?? give it a go !! we've signed way less, for way more !!! throw , the big, overrated, belichik less tuna, a few picks, jordan, & fagas, for taylor outright ?? it'l never happen, but hey, WTF ??? you'll never know, if ya never ask !

frehley has some good points, i really still don't know why we spent so much on Javon Walker. theres no way we could afford an aging JT we still gotta pay DMc.s

He would be a great addition but his age is going to count against him when it comes to fitness and injuries. Miami are asking way too much for him and we have already splashed so much cash this offseason.

They want at least a 2nd round pick for him. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have DeAngelo Hall or Zach Miller than Jason Taylor.
A hell no from this corner.
