In 5 years, we won 63 games. Not 6 or 7 or 8. 5 Seasons, not half of one and part of another, ROOKIE.

I stand corrected. Our record in those 5 years was 60 wins, not 63. It was 63 total games, but it is still a record, regardless of how many games were played in each season. Just like Adrian Peterson's freshman record for yards is based on more games played, but guess what? He holds the record. Barry Bonds hit 73 home runs in a season, but they play more games in a season then Babe Ruth did. Guess what? He still holds the record. We can go on and on, but the record books show that the most wins by a team in 5 seasons is Nebraska with 60. Doesn't that just pipe you up, ROOKIE? We hold the record and you don't. OU does hold the record for the most consecutive wins, but not the longest unbeaten streak. That belongs to the Washington Huskies. Unlike you though, I admitted that I made a mistake in the amount of wins, something that has waved bye-bye to you long ago. Let's talk about wins in a decade? When did the Sooners top the century mark and how many times did they do it, ROOKIE?

Also, Nebraska has WON more games in the last 46 years than anybody else in the country. Only Ohio State has won more in the last 50 years. There ya go, ROOK. Stick that one in your pocket. The funny thing is, that Nebraska also had a better winning percentage during that span, even though they played more games than anybody else. That's dominating, ROOKIE.

I'd also like to add that OU had a record of 60-3-1 from 1953-1958. That's 6 complete seasons and Nebraska bettered that in just 5, even though you had your winning streak in there. Get lost again, ROOKIE.

Arrogance lies with you, Shel. I could just as well say that Oklahoma's 47 game winning streak doesn't count because a couple of years they didn't play a bowl game and had they played a tougher non-conference schedule, they might have been beaten. Those are all presumptions, not facts. For 5 seasons, that's start of one season to the end of another, 60 games were won. If I counted into the '98 season, Nebraska has a 65-3 record. Now that, is padding the stats. You're always saying that Oklahoma has done something before Nebraska has. I asked you when OU has won 100+ games in a decade and you avoid answering that. I know why, because they have never done it. They will most likely do it this decade, but Nebraska has done it twice already. I also commented on the last 46 years on who has won more games and has had a better winning percentage and from yu I hear "crickets". What's sad, is that OU tied Nebraska's 60 wins in 5 years from 2000-2004, but you won't comment on it. Why? Because you guys only won 1 National Ch | |
