Why is it when you order something like a auto part or something else . the sales person doesn't have a clue about when it might be their or even if they can get it or not ?

Why is it that when you put something away in a certin place so you know where it is when you need it .Someone always comes along and uses it and puts it some where else where you can't find it ?

My unnecessary question for the day is

Why is it that when someone ruins something of yours ,and they offer to fix it , but they try to fix the cheapest way possible ,and it nowhere near as good as it was, they get mad at you for not acepting it . I mean if it was theirs they would want it fixed right.
