The Spurs Manu Ginobili is a no brainer. The Rockets Shane Battier also needs to be mentioned. Probably the Nuggets Allen Iverson cause if you just run past him w/o even touching him he goes flying.

The Kirilenko flop was against Houston when Skola (I believe) set a pick on him right in the corner.  To the ref's defense on that play, he was blocked by Kirilenko so he couldn't see how hard he really got hit, he just made the call off the reaction by Andre.  I do agree it was a flop.  My question is this-

What will they do in cases where it is clearly a foul but the player clearly over-reacts to it?  This happens all the time on defensive rebounding situations where a guy is given a little bump in the lower back from the player he is boxing out (illegal) but he flops forward to "sell" the call.  If I'm a player in that situation, I would point out 10 other times where I got pushed, didn't flop, and didn't get the call.  What is the league to do in those cases?

My guess is that they will only fine for the most obvious flops.  These happen all the time when players anticipate contact, it does't come but they fall down anyway.  I think Derek Fisher and Ginobili are the worst offenders, Fisher on defense and Ginobili on offense..... Horrible.

aawwyeah, thank you for getting Vujabitch out there. That guy flops more than Chevy Chase's movies. I kept looking for the sniper. Not to mention the fact that he hacks more than anybody. I didn't see much of him during the year, but, being a Spurs fan, saw plenty of him the last few games. It seemed like every time a Spur grabbed a rebound he would slap at it like Ashton Kutcher in "Dude Where's My Car?". Don't get me wrong, he plays some good D, and has a pretty good shot, but there are some things that he could stop doing.

I'm actually glad for this rule. I'm tired of hearing about Ginobili flopping all the time. Yeah, I know he does it, and so do a couple more Spurs, but a lot of the time both the and Parker go at the rim hard, and maybe a bit out of control, and so any contact drives them off their feet. Yes, they do flop a lot, but I can't wait until all the other losers that do it get called on it, and the Spurs are no longer the pariahs of flopping. After they get called on it a few times, I think it will stop, but I think a lot of people are going to be surprised at how often others get called for it.
