Oh man was that a grand sight to see : Sidney Crosby running his mouth at the Red Wings after his team got run out of the Cup finals on their home ice.  That's what a team leader and captain does, all right.  The Pens can't score on a 5 on 3 that lasts over 90 seconds, and he has some kind of beef about something else at the end of the game.  It's a little late to show some fight, kid.  You and your teammates should have come to play in game 1.  Now, the Wings get to win the Stanley Cup at home in front of the home fans.  This is just perfect.  Stick a fork in 'em, Pittsburgh.  Your Penguins are done.  That fact was confirmed for me by Sidney's actions to end the game.

This points out a problem that may be affecting Pittsburgh.  How do you react to a team captain who is so young when you're a veteran who is trying his hardest to win the Stanley Cup?  Do you listen to him when he tells you that you aren't playing hard enough when he himself has only played a couple of years?  I will tell you right now, when it comes to being a captain, Crosby is NOT a Steve Yzerman and NEVER will be.

Sidnet Crosby is a arrogant, selfish jackass. I can't believe the NHL is making him thre face of the league. Anyone with a pair of testicles hates his pansy crying and complaining. If he was true leader, ie Yzerman and Messier, maybe fans outside of Pittsburgh would respect him, but anyone that isn't a Pens fan HATES the guy. Lemieux and Gretzky were professionals and great players. Crosby is just a douchebag.

for the life of me I can't understand why Crosby was selected to be the face of the league. He whines, trashtalks, and is one dimensional. He has little to no respect for the game or its players. Why not make a guy like Ovechkin the up and coming face of the league? He scores more, hes more exciting, and is a more complete player. Plus, he does it all with little talent around him, but his youthful exuberance makes the caps better. He beat Sid the kid (aptly named) for rookie of the year and this year won the scoring title and should get the MVP. Plus he has respect and regard for the veterans of the game and knows his place in it. Theres your games hero.

I personally have always thought that Ovechkin was the best player in the league.  Crosby came here over-hyped (just like most basketball players for the NBA).

I agree with everything Broncos314 said, so I am not going to repeat it.

I just hope Sid the Baby, (i did not say kid, because he surely doesn't act like on), but I hope Detroit gives him one final check to knock his ass out.  All he does is run his mouth and bad mouth the Wings (even though they are spanking him left and right).  Crosby has never lost in Championship games, I can understand his frustration, but to go on a tear about a team that is purely WHOOOPING you is just wrong.  If it wasn't for Stuart's Turnover and his poor defensive play, along with that lucky goal by Adam Hall, Detroit would have won the cup last night.

I guess We just have to wait until Monday for the Cup at the Joe....

BTW.... Pittsburgh has 17,000 seats in Mellon arena...

Detroit has 20,066

Even if Detroit does not sell out, we still have way over 17,000 fans at the Joe...

Just wanted to throw that out there for the Pens fans to realize that we do not have bandwagon fans here in Detroit!

LETS GO Red Wings

Even if Detroit does not sell out...Oh, it will be sold out and will be louder than ever before this season.

Have to agree w- you about Stuart the other night, JaimeSean.  I could not believe that one player could look so bad in one game like he did with his terrible turnover that resulted in a goal, his running into Maltby, I think, in front of Osgood and leaving Crosby all alone (with another Penguins player) on the side of the goal to ram in a rebound for another goal, and his general sloppy play all night.  If not for this aberration of a game by Stuart, we wouldn't have to put up with this "How great Crosby is to step up when it counts and make this the series we all expected" garbage!  Stuart has a bad game, and the Pens only win that game by one goal!  But I will hand it to Stuart last night, since that was a great play to keep the puck in and get it to Hudler for the game winner.  He made up for that bad game 3 last night in spades.
