pitching staff was huge (how many games of the 10 did the staff hold atl, houst, and d'backs to 0,1,or 2 runs?).
but as many people mentioned, just playing at home helped a ton. i don't many people would argue that w/the way they played, there's no way they win 9 of 10 on the road. they would've been lucky to go 6-4 or 5-5 on the road. for one reason or another (mentally, crowd support, etc), the crew seems to win a lot more close games @ home than they do on the road. i'm sure the same can be said for 20 other mlb teams (on a positive note, at least we're not struggling as bad as the Braves on the road).
keep it up crew. let's go for a couple road series wins....dare i say 4-2? (how big would that be for their confidence?).
