Vote for the greatest pitcher in the history of major league baseball. I think that the top 5 are definitely included in this list so don't start whining that I didn't include Sandy Koufax, Steve Carlton, or Kerry Wood.
I think Mark Prior is a great pitcher and has the stuff to be one of the greats but Mark needs to prove he can be great for a long time not just the 2 or 3 seasons he was...I think if he comes back healthy and is dominant for a long time then he has a chance to be a great pitcher but not the greatest of all time...Mark should not even be on the list...
Mark Prior cant even stay healthy and you think hes the best pitcher ever? He probably wont even pitch a full season the rest of his career, you have to be kidding me
Mark Prior is the best pitcher i have ever seen. granted it was only for one season, but man o man.the kid threw about 100 generated from his tree trunk like legs. his fastball hit another gear and just exploded / disappeared before the catcher caugt it. the easiest fastball ive ever seen tossed, just effortless and something beautifull to watch allbeit for the one season.
I declined to vote, since even as a Yanks fan, there is no denying Pedro Martinez and his run of dominance....he deserves to be at least included on the list...
