I agree with Gary that while drinking and driving is irresponsible, stupid, and unfortunately: a fairly common practice. I think Lawson will still go pro, but if he doesn't, UNC will welcome him back. What I did find funny was the caption under the picture, "Lawson's arrest Friday might mean you get him back." The principle behind that statement is a testament on the state of Colleges and Collegiate Athletics nation wide. Go to Jail, Go back to College. That would have been unthinkable at one point in history.

I agree this was a stupid and i dont think it will hurt his draft stock at all he hasn't had a pattern of bad behavior before and this wasn't as serious of an offense as say selling drugs and beating on a grilfriend but you never know with football and basketball putting an importance on character these days as mich as talent you dont know how or if this will effect his draft status. I wish him the best. I think this is a isolated incident i dont he's a troubled player and he will most likely stay in the draft.

GO HEELS!!!!!!!

It seems he will stay in the draft. This is pretty minor by NBA standards, and there are no underlying questions about lawson's character. NBA teams apparently want speed this year and lawson has been guarunteed by a few GM's a top 20 pick. Best of luck Lawson, I wouldn't turn down guarunteed millions either.
