Did anyone see this play last night:

http://www.sportsline.com/nba/gamec
enter/recap/NBA_20080608_LAL@BOS

After Vujacic hit a 3-pointer, Vladimir Radmanovic made a steal and dunk to make it 104-100 and Celtics fans, who had been dancing moments earlier, began to panic.

It was a nice play. Except for the part where Vlad to about five steps without dribbling on his way to the basket. I didn't notice it as much when it happened (half-watching), but when they showed the replay, it was one of the most obvious examples of travelling I've ever seen.

Are NBA refs trained about the rules of the game?

Are NBA refs trained about the rules of the game?

No.  And that is why NBA results are about as authentic as those from the WWE. Which explains why I watch them at about the same frequency, which is to say almost never.

This is one of several reasons why College Basketball > NBA basketball. You can't run half of the court without dribbling. I mean, this was obvious.

College basketball officiating is not all that great either. Especially with the blocking and charging calls.

i'm surprised this is being addressed.  sure wasn't last night during the game.  i am not a celtics fan, but i   H A T E   the lakers.  i was in a house full of lakers fans and when i brought the subject up, i was chastised.  jiminy christmas.  then of course the play by play guys didn't touch it, so i was labeled a hater and a homer.  i even counted out loud to the buffoons and gave one step the benefit of the doubt.
