A couple of questions to see if any discussion gets started.
1. Given the Jazz's spot in the draft who looks like the best target aside from Hibbert?
2. Roy Hibbert has been the primary guy in draft projections for the Jazz, how do you feel about the prospect of having him come to the team?
3. One possibility I've heard is that Carlos Boozer is being targeted by some teams; try to put aside how much Boozer is loved here, could this trade really be a viable option for the Jazz if he goes someplace like the Heat, Bobcats, etc. in exchange for players/picks?
4. Of these players who do you want to see the Jazz retain: Jason Hart, Kyrelo Fessenko, Morris Almond, Jarron Collins, Paul Millsap, C.J. Miles, Matt Harpring? Why?

1. For me it would probably have to be DJ Augustin the PG from Texas. Why ? well the Jazz really aren't that solid to back-up Deron Williams and the possibility of drafting a point guard should be taken into consideration.
- Jason Hart- Soon as he lost the back-up role everything went down hill for him and since that he picked up his player option this could make it alittle easier for Utah to trade him.
- Ronnie Price- Aside from some highlight reels, Price isn't really the answer to back-up D-Will.
2. The few teams that draft ahead of Utah such as the Magic, Nets, Nuggets, Wizards, and Cavaliers there some what more of a run and gun, and guy like a Roy Hibbert wouldn't do to well in system like that. But a half-court set would be a perfect fit for Hibbert to come in and play 20 minutes or more if needed to.
3. As for Carlos Boozer I think he stay's, and it's mostly in part of having a stud point guard in D-Will, hence the one of the reason anybody would want to play for Utah is the rise of D-Will.
4. The players that I want the Jazz to retain would be.
- Kyrylo Fesenko - Why? let's say the Jazz end up drafting Roy Hibbert, this would be great cause the team would have 2 legit 7-footers to better protect the paint and have a deeper playoff run.
- Morris Almond - Why? because other than Kyle Korver, Mehmet Okur, and D-Will the Jazz don't have anybody else to spread the floor, plus it doesn't hurt to have another 3-point threat in the team's arsenal.
- Paul Millsap - Why? other than Andrei Kirilenko, Utah doesn't have anyone else to block shots and Millsap does just that. He's a rebounding machine and if wasn't for Millsap getting offensive rebounds to give the Jazz extra possession's there could of been a few losses to the team's record.
- Matt Harpring - Why? who else does the team have with mental and physical toughness? ummm nobody really. Plus his hustle and ability to hit that 15-foot jumper off the curl is priceless.
So that just leaves C.J. Miles and Jarron Collins, both of them to me have wore out there welcome in a Utah Jazz uniform.

If it was possible I would like to keep just about everyone. There are a few players who just don't contribute and will never contribute. They are Jerron Collins and Jason Heart. I wish we could keep everyone else:
- Almond- He's proven he can score in the D league, give him a chance.
- Fessenko- you can't teach height and he looks way better that Eaton ever did.
- Milsap- no better PF coming off the bench, I think had he played more in Boozer's place we would have won an extra game or 2 over LA.
- Miles- I think he could be better than Brewer. He's bigger and can shoot better. I like Brewer but I think he would be better coming off the bench as a energy boost with those steals and dunks. It's time to give CJ a real chance, even if only to show off his skills for better trade value. I like the kid, give him a chance!
- Harpring's days are very numbered, but his toughness in all respects are needed greatly.
- Price- He could be a great back up. He seems to run the offence well, he can create his own shots, he can hit the 3. I like him.
I think our major problem is in our heads. Our team is as balanced as it gets, we have players who cause very favorable mismatches in Okur, Williams, and AK. We have Korver now. Let's hope we don't lose much in the coming years.

Like I said in my last post, our mental toughness is why we lost.
Hearing about AK missing practice to take care of a Visa for his summer vacation pisses me off like nothing else. Okur seemed to tone it down as the season moved on. Boozer... well what can I say. Those players and Deron Williams are our top players and Deron was the ONLY one with fire in his eyes during those games. Boozer showed what he could do that one game, where was that in all the others?
In light of a trade. Depending on what we get in return, I would be fine losing any of those guys (except Deron of course). There isn't much out there that would give equal value but I'm not attached any of those 3. I find it hard to believe that the Jazz would do that though, it's not a good idea to mix up the team chemistry. AK should just change his contract and take less money (ya, like that would happen).

"well the Jazz really aren't that solid to back-up Deron Williams"
D-will08 - I disagree with your assessment of Price. Price only gets about 9 minutes a game and gives the Jazz exactly what they need during those minutes. He is a spark that the Jazz need when D-will goes out. He can pass and score and is a definate hustle player. In my opinion, Price is the perfect back-up point gaurd for the Jazz.
As for drafting a PG, it might not be a bad idea, but I think that the Jazz are in more need of a defensive C, who can clog up the middle.
