What would be really cool is that both teams make the playoffs by week 16 and we play for the division title and home field in week 17. I can just imagine the smack talk on these boards if that happened.

I'll take that right now. A home game Week 17 against the Browns for the division? I like our odds in that situation. Can you set that up Dawg?

no problem bum. I've already picked Steeleers to win in my previous post. The only problem is that the Jags will knockut the Steelers again in the first round of the playoffs. While the  Browns win in sunny San Diego enroute winning the AFC title game over the Jags.

First of all...IS THIS THREAD EVER GOING TO DIE?!?!?!?!?

No?

Alright then,

no problem bum. I've already picked Steeleers to win in my previous post. The only problem is that the Jags will knockut the Steelers again in the first round of the playoffs. While the  Browns win in sunny San Diego enroute winning the AFC title game over the Jags.

Ouch!  You realize that just because the Jags won a couple of games last year doesn't mean they will be the better team this year, right?  I mean, all you Browns fans keep saying how little history has to do with the future, but you have no problem using the Steelers recent history against them! lol.
Secondly, I have a really hard time picturing the Browns beating the really good teams, like the Chargers, or the Patriots, or the Colts, or the Jags, or, might I add, the Steelers.  Maybe its because they didn't beat any good teams last year.  They feasted on the average teams and struggled against the good teams.  The same could be said for the Steelers of 2007, but not many people would be surprised if the Steelers were able to beat the Chargers, or the Jags, or the Colts, or the Pats.  Again, its the history thing.  Until you show you can beat the better teams, you can't be considered one of them.
