We have the most unproductive, anemic, non-situational and timely hitting team in the league! We left 11 on base today. I have never seen so many pop ups and DP's as I have in the last 2 series with Detroit and Colorado. Colorado is more than 10 games under .500 and we made them look like contenders. Not sure where or how, but we have to make some changes. And it's time the Sox understand that we need Ramirez in the lineup everyday. Don't care if it's 2nd base, SS, or CF, we need the bat and the speed. Oh, and let me not just kill the hitting. When we do get on base, our baserunning is terrible. We know we have a great shot at the division, but not withought some changes and aquisitions.

I really don't see us getting anyone, I'd like to see Alexei playing everyday, and never see Juan Uribe in a Sox uniform again, but Kenny believes that Thome and Konerko are going to heat up, and they honestly don't have any trade value right now.

The only thing I could see them doing is calling up Josh Fields and having him and Pablo Ozuna platoon with Crede at 3rd and Thome at DH.

Last year Fields hit around .315 against lefties, Ozuna is hitting .385 against them this year, Thome hits .259 this year against lefties, but last season he hit under .200, and right now Joe is hitting .100 against lefties, when left handed starters are out, play Pablo and Josh out there at 3B and DH, that way you get Josh in the game, he has huge power and is able to swipe some bases, and you still get him some big league AB's to be ready when Joe leaves.

As far as aquisitions, you're right. Nobody has trade value right now. Any team we want to deal with will want pitching which we don't want to give up. If PK goes on the DL, I'd like to see Brad Eldred get a shot. Some guys mature later than others. Maybe by now he's the real deal.

I forgot to mention your comment about Crede. I saw that stat today (hitting .100 vs. lefties). That was a real surprise. Lefty vs. righty... you would think at least .200 if they give him trouble.  .100 is ridiculous.

The Sox follow up their best hitting week of the season with their worst. And it came against two teams struggling, the Tigers I can understand because they should be competitive. But the Rockies the worst road team in baseball with a very mediocre pitching staff? Maybe Ozzie can threaten some people with their jobs and they will wake up again.

Maybe Williams can be threaten with his jobs.  He can help out with this mess.  We have lot of unproductive players.  We have to be leading the Majors in guys left on base.  It seems like we average about 10 guys left on base.  We have to cut that number down.

I believe Ramirez should get more playing time as well.  He has great speed and we can use that right now.  Give the young guy the green light and see if we score a run here and there.  What do we have to loose?  Other than someone stranded on base, which we already do.

There is no reason for Ramirez not to play NONE PERIOD !!!!!  I can see getting him some rest thats it.Put Konerko on the DL move Anderson to center play Swisher and the AAA ist baseman I don,t care who it is at 1st. Josh Fields should of been playing first this whole year we should of dumped Paulie I  have said it for 2 years take his 12 million give some to Crede make Fields the 1st basman, next year bye bye Thome JD can DH and play a little right and we have another 10 million for some young fast players. This is the second time Kenny Williams is putting his eggs in an old basket counting on Thome and Konerko. Did every one forget 2006 after talking to the players KW did nothing and the AL Central sliped right away, just like this year it is slipping away.
