You say it was good PR, I say it was scripted WWE type garbage, and thats exactly what they want. Elite XC wanted this type of confrontation, otherwise Nick Diaz would not have been allowed to enter the cage.
That's complete rubbish in my book.
It's one thing for a fighter to talk smack, but to me, as PROFESSIONAL fighters, there has to be a line. Show a little bit of respect, act like you've been there before. It's MMA - everybody is going to lose sooner or later - everybody is gonna catch a beating eventually. Leave the group melee bull crap back on the "westside" and fight inside the cage only when they pay you to do so. Leave the post fight scuffles and idiotic weigh-in shoving matches to the dinosaur that is Boxing.
Also, maybe if Nick put the joint down for a minute the munchies wouldn't contribute to him missing weight, and maybe he'd still be fighting in the big leagues with his little brother.
If this is the way Elite XC is gonna go, I hope they pull the plug, and soon.
