If they don't sign him soon then they are going to lose him. There are teams interested. I just heard it on ESPN NFL live. Are the pack really that dumb not to sign him???

Why do you continue to come over to our boards and post CRAP!?!?

First of all, the Packers and Ryan Grant's agent are working out a contract.

Secondly, Ryan Grant is an exclusive rights free agent.  Know what that means, donkey???  That means no other team can sign him.  He either plays for the Packers next year or he plays for no one.  It doesn't matter how much a team is interested in him, or much much money they want to throw at him.  The only way Grant plays for another team is if the Packers trade him, plain and simple.

not only that but even after the next season he will still only be a restricted free agent meaning we will have the right to match any offer made to him...

WOW another wishful thinking Vikqueen fan. You got your wish when Favre retired. Only to have your teams next daddy in Aaron Rodgers ready to take over, next year. So seriously stay off these damn boards, especially the Packers boards

Damn worried much?? did u not see the " are the Packers really that dumb" part meaning i know he is good. Your right he plays with the pack or he plays with no one but at the end of the year people will be knockin at the door. Not to worry Grant will sign..... just after the first game of the season. i didn;t come here to talk shit i just was saying that i heard it. you don't ussuallt get so testy when there is no fear there though..................

Oh there's fear alright. There's nothing better to take pressure off a QB (first year at that) than an effective running game. The Packers will sign Grant but they will have to give him something.

Damn, stupid much?? Did you not see my point that the two sides are talking?  They are working out a contract.  They will come to an agreement, and he will play for the Packers in 2008.

This is a non-story.
