If Indiana goes on probation then Jordan Crawford would most likely be allowed to play next year wherever he goes. If Liggins doesnt qualify, then JC2 might be the answer at PG THIS season. Hes very athletic, something Gillispie likes. So what do you guys think about that? Do you think we should go after him if he can play next season, or wait and take our slim chances on Wall?
The actual rule is that Indiana will have to go on probation for 3 or more years to allow Jordan to play next season. Lets hope the Committee is led by Billy Gillispie and/or Adolf Hitler.
Indiana has the ability to give him a complete release or not. They can, and most schools usually do, attempt to restrict their release to a rival. Crawford at IU had a great game against Kentucky last year, but I think we actually saw his best game of the year. I don't think we could expect that from him every time.
We have a better than "slim" chance for Wall. First off Jasper left and Liggins is still an 'if". I think we have a better than "slim" chance of adding Orton and Wall. They are both interested in playin together and we are the team they both like. Now I know most of these packages dont happen (Lucas and Patterson), but we have Billy on the job and I think that we are in good with both.
Fab, No one is going to expect Crawford to have pay everygame like whe he did against us, but he wouldbe hell of good under Billy.
wall and orton together with Patterson would be a terrible threat along with meeks, possible liggins, then the next year adding dominique ferguson. John Hood. Lance Stephenson on maybe. Woaaa that is a bright future.
I don't think their punishment will be this harsh. Indiana handled the situation extremely well, and because of this they will likely receive less severe consequences. Go Cats!!!
