Once again Kobe is not in the same class as Jordan.  Tonights game and this series as a whole clearly shows that Kobe does not have the ferocity that Jordan had.  Kobe was virtually a non-factor this whole series.  He definately DID NOT dominate the series.  The Jordan led Bulls never gave up like the Lakers did tonight.  This NBA Finals proves once and for all that Kobe and the Lakers have no heart.  LONG LIVE AIR JORDAN!!!!!!!

P.S.  Congrats Celtics

as a Celtics fan:

i like Kobe. I never watched Jordan play, never been interested, but respect him, so im indifferent. but Jordan had a team. Pau Gasol really flopped this Finals, except for some effort tonight. Farmer is a good young guard, but Vujacic is inconsistant, and Odom...he's gotta be the go to guy. Coaches win games, teams win playoffs, and defense wins championships. If Kobe wants to win a championship, he's gotta want the ball. Before he wanted it too much, and now he thinks he does'nt have to get turnovers anymore? Maybe Bynum down low would be a good setup, but his guys gotta put in the effort.

I dont know much about Jordan, but I do now that when his guys did'nt step up, which wasnt often, he pulled down boards, got steals, and ran the offense. Until Kobe does that, he can't be on Jordans level.

kingmalibu  You had to see Jordan play.  His first year when he made all NBA, nobody would pass him the ball during the all star game, especially Isia Thomas.

The Bulls 1st 3 Titles, Jordan was the man, he carried the teams.  A lot of guys got an NBA title ring that never would have.

After his fathers death he retired and played baseball for a year.  He was not a baseball player and he knew it but it got the TV Camera's away from him.

The Bulls 2nd 3 titles, Jordan shared the ball and MADE everyone else play team ball.  But when needed, he was still the man.  And yep, again a lot of guys got an NBA title ring that never would have with out Michael.

Michael did it both ways as  in your last paragraph.  He was something to see.  Every teams attendance went up everytime they played the bulls.  He made the NBA a fortune.. and he would have played for free if needed.  He just loved to play that much and it showed in the size of his heart.

Watched the final Celtics game tonight.  Congradulations on another banner to hang in the celing.  Red would have loved it!

Ok Frank Gore from 91-98 a Jordan led team only lost one playoff series and that was when he came back from retirement I don't think the person who started this thread was blaming Kobe for them losing I wouldn't just like in those early years it wasn't Jordan's fault they lost them series.  But Jordan is in a class by hisself oh and with the age thing Kobe may be 29  but this is his 12th year in the league.
