Congress has more things to worry about than the N.F.L. Such as high gas prices a war going on tht needs to be ended.

Please, he's a few million dollars richer. FYI, the price of oil, the war in Iraq, and whatever else excuses Specter has, had already existed even before Specter decided he wants to be a hero. The Spygate was already over when the stupid commisioner decided to destroy the tapes and dishing out fines to the Patsies even before investigating and talking to everyone involve, period.

Spot on.  One would think that a governing body would have way more important issues to worry about than policing a sports league.  Come on Senators.. get a grip and fix the messes we voted you to fix.

My thoughts exactly.  I don't see why Congress is even worrying about it.

I think that Congress should worry about the 4081 Americans that have died fighting in a pointless war. They should be worrying about the failing economy and the fact most Americans can't afford to get to work. What a joke.

Hey "Redskin" I think you mean a war that needs to be won. I think they should permanently suspend Belichek. He's a big time cheater, and a generally classless person.

Isn't the NFL for entertainment?  Is Congress going to start cracking down on strip joints also?  resdkins, you are right on - our gov't has more important things that they should be trying to deal with - gas prices, health care, border security (don't forget Sept.11th), etc.
