	I had said this for a loooooong time: i think they should start warner and let leinart learn. Last year he was arrogant (his comments about ride or die with me?? wtf that's so selfish) and it will not work out with him as the starter on opening day. Look at the Packers thay had a talented guy on the bench because they had a star at qb and i'm not compating brett favre to Kurt Warner (even if he took the Rams to 2 superbowls) and they didn't start rodgers cause they had a veteran and a hell of a qb ahead of him. Come on, you saw him play last season, he still is very good and leinart is not even near him. They really can win with him and now that the defense is supposed to be better why not stick with warner?? Both sides could be winning or even three sides: Arizona wins, leinart gets a chance to learn from one of best and warner gets a chance to end his career as a winning qb.

	Leinart will be out of the NFL in 2 years. Guaranteed bust. His only hope is that -- because he plays for Arizona -- few will notice how bad he's played in the NFL. But those of us forced to watch had to endure his 60.9 passer rating (last in the NFL), 129 yards per game (also last in the NFL), 0.4 touchdowns per game (zero to Larry Fitzgerald, one to Anquan Boldin), two interceptions per td, 5.8 YPA, and ~50% completion percentage. Leinart's 2nd season was actually worse than Ryan Leaf's!. Fortunately for the Cardinals, Leinart is extremely fragile. He's suffered 2 season-ending injuries in his last 5 sacks! That's got to be some kind of record. When Warner took over, he threw 27 TD's in only 11 starts --- 21 in his final 8 games --- and finished in the top-10 in most QB categories, including passer rating (89.8), yards per game, and touchdowns per game. Fitzgerald and Boldin, one of the best receiving duos in the NFL, were able to shine with Warner --- finishing the season with a combined 20 TD's (Fitzgerald made the Pro Bowl). After last season's stark contrasts in Arizona QB play, I can't believe Warner versus Leinart is even being debated. "Hmm..... Should we go with the guy with 2 NFL MVP's, 2 NFC Championships, Super Bowl Ring, and Super Bowl MVP on his mantle who played at a Pro Bowl level in '07??..... or go with the guy who never accomplished anything in the NFL and played at a Ryan Leaf level???" If the Cardinals weren't run by the meddling Bidwills --- the most inept and cheapest owners in pro sports history --- then starting the marketing gimmick that is Matt Leinart wouldn't even be a consideration. By far, Kurt Warner gives this team and its fans the best chance at making the playoffs this season, and those opportunities don't come along very often for this franchise.

	I watch every cardinal game and have since the nfl ticket came out. I also am left handed and love the fact that leinert, a fellow lefty, could be our quarterback. That being said, Warner is better by far and should lead our team until otherwise.

	This whole thing has been handled poorly from the get-go. Typically, the vet gets the nod for the starting position, as is should be. This keeps the vet working hard to ward off the younger player...and motivates the younger player to work hard to succeed when he gets a chance. When the job is give to the youngster over the vet, bad things happen (see Rolle in 2005 and Leinart in 2007). The youngster gets complacent and too comforable, and the vet loses his motivation. But because Leinart is so whiney and immature, Coach Whiz has been forced to give him the starting job without earning it in any shape or form. Coach Whiz knows that Leinart, the spoiled, pouty putz of a QB, will be the one who shuts it down if he can't earn his way off the bench. What I find amazing is that the Cardinals are actually willing to build a franchise around such a bum.
