You're a dope Ed. First off, Field hockey is an american girls high school sport. Cricket is only played in England and India. Rugby is more of a sport than most, it takes a true athlete.
The Spain--Italy match was a treat. And unless you watched it, I don't want to hear any nonsense complaints. It was edge of your seat excitement, 2 countries battling it out, one for its past curses and hexes, another to defend its world championship. The best 2 goalies in the world, and 2 teams defending their side to their best abilities.
I'll rank this as one of my favorites, perhaps behind or ahead of the Portugal--England 2004 Eurocup match that went 1-1 into extra time, then 2-2 into penalties, until Portugal finally won. It'll take some time, perhaps years to reflect and put it into perspective.
