It's a risk for both teams with O'Neals & Ford's injury history. With that said, the Pacers get the better of this deal because they pick up an extra pick (#17) to go along with their own pick (#11). I don't think Koufas is the right fit for them. They need more a power player, a player more comfortable playing around the basket . With potentially Ford, Dunleavey, Granger trio on the perimeter, you don't need a big who's strength is outside shooting. They can draft Augustin or Westbrook at #11 (whichever is available), then pick from DeAndre Jordan/JaVale McGee/Robin Lopez at #17. Nesterovic adds a serviceable bigman to the frontline. Indiana gets rid of O'Neal's contract in the process along with his presence in the post on both ends of the floor.
