I think Baron is a good player but I dont think he can get past the 1st round. Why not try to get Elton Brand- Look at this line up- Starting- Monte-G, Jackson-G, B Wright- F, Brand-PF, Biedrens-C- Have Harrington, Kelenna, Barnes, Watson, Bellinelli- Sign maybe freeagent Point Guard like Arroyo and legit back up center like Kurt Thomas...wow..I think we have better chance with this team..than with Baron..Our rebounding and defenase should be better with this team on the floor..low post presence with Elton..I think Monte can be a scoring point guard. Makes the offense go through him with outlets of Brand and Jackson..with the Biedrens and Wright around the basket rebounding and developing a offensive game?

Baron is a great point guard; statistically CBS Sports ranks him 2nd in the NBA. He actually did get us past the first round last year. He just needs to stop playing down to the level of the competition and stop resting on a 20 point lead.
Monta Ellis is not playmaking point guard. He's a great 1-4 threat with his speed to the basket; he can lay it up or kick it out.
Wright is not ready for starting yet; he will get into the rotation this year off the bench.
Elton Brand is great, but we don't have $15MM of players to trade that the Clippers would take. He needs the ball too much for the rest of our offense; and Nellie doesn't use the post in his offense. We need a rebounding PF that doesn't take a lot of shots. Leon Powe of the Celtics is a prime example and we can give the Celtics our trade exemption which they'll take in an instant.

Baron Davis is da best fit 4 da Warriors he is da 1 dat brings them together and wins games. they should sign baron for a 4 year contract. they should get rid of Matt Barnes and brandon wright and pick up Elton Brand. look at this line up, baron-G, monta-G, jackson-F, brand-PF, biedrens-C. that is da best line up and the warriors can make a run to da finals. with brand and biedrens down low the rebounding and the shot blocking and baron with his leading skills and monta with his speed and his midrange and jackson with the 3 point bombs the warriors will be unstoppable. i dont know why they want to get rid of baron is the strongest gaurd in the NBA and one of the best finishers and i believe he can get a MVP award.

Quite Honestly, Playoff_Bound, you should be banned from the message boards. Without Baron, we won't even MAKE the playoffs. Monta is not ready to take control of our team. 2-3 years from now, maybe, but not yet. I don't want Elton, Arroyo, or Thomas. Our team is fine as it is. Keep the team intact without any 7 game suspensions.

I think that is crazy. Baron needs to stay put. The Dubs are going to lose Mickael Pietrus, Austin Croshere and Patrick O'Bryant for sure. What they need to do is try to do a sign and trade for Seattle's Chris Wilcox, whom the sonics are shopping. If they can get Barnes to take a small contract again, then they should do it. And they will need to find another cheap big body, like maybe bring back DJ Mbenga if he hits FA. A team that stars Baron, Monta, Jax, Wilcox, and Biedrins with a bench of Watson, Belinelli, Barnes, Harrington, Mbenga, Wright and a draft pick like maybe Brandon Rush would be a solid team.

Both averaging 28 mins/game, Chris Wilcox gets 7.0 rebounds and Nick Collison gets 9.8 rebounds. I'd rather get Collison from Oklahoma City than Wilcox.
