	I voted yes. Because I think Melrose will be good for hockey. Give the whole league more exposure, particularly Tampa on ESPN. But keeping Torterella would have given us a better coach I believe.

	He is way overated. The team he took to finals is a team he inherited. There is a reason he was in finals in 93 and fired by 95.

	Not to take anything away from Melrose he did a good job in getting to the Cup finals but why has he been an analyst for so long ? was it his choice ? There have been many other opportunities for many other other coaches but how often was the name of Melrose in the conversation ? I tjink he will attract some fans and be a story but I dont think we will have any idea how good of a hire he is for monthes

	Yes this is a great hire for the Lightning. I am just surprised that he wasn't hired years ago. Barry was ran out of LA hopefully he doesn't try to get involved in player transactions. I just wish my Leafs would have pulled their heads out of their a55'es and tried to get him. I would be very happy with Crawford or Turtoro for us.

	Great hire! Not very many people that are as knowledgeable about the game than Melrose, if he handles everything right in recharging Tampa Bay they could be a late playoff contender.
