Has this guy done an awesome job or what since giving up those 10 runs to KC..19 straight scoreless innings since then..hats off to him.

Tell me bout it he is doin great and he is going to have to keep it up. Yanks need him and moose to win 20 games.

They might need to do that for the Yankees to pull of an AL East title. It seems unlikely that any other Yankees starter will reach 10 unless Wang comes back.

Pettite has been extremely impressive of late. Pettite has been known to be a strong 2nd half pitcher, so he is getting started a little early this year. Going off of his stats from the second half last year, I see Pettite finishing the year at 20-9, assuming he keeps up the good work.

Also, Andy is a class act. A team can't ask more than what they get from him. I'm glad he's back. Actually, he shouldn't have left. Yankee management, not at their best. Go Yankees !!

Andy has really settled in this year, and is pitching great. It's nice to see him step up lately, knowing the current condition of the staff. Let's hope that he keeps this shut out streak going, and the Yankees keep winning. I think we all agree that Pettitte is going to have a strong second half, so things are looking pretty good.

In spite of Wang's injury, we could develop a pair of possible 20 game winners in Mussina and Pettite.
