The Raiders nearly swept us...

Why do the Raider fans keep saying this?

The game that they won, Janikowski MISSED the first FG, and Shanny called a timeout and tried to pull another tricky victory which backfired.

So they nearly swept us, but they also nearly got swept. Why doesn't anyone remember this?

The Raiders also though they were a playoff contender last year. lol Besides theybeat the Broncos like once every 6 years or something. Most of my friends are Raider fans, they also happen to like the Lakers but we wont go there and all they can say like every season is he got this. Far as I know they will be Battling it out with the Chiefs for last in the division. hahaha I wouldnt be surprised if they get a top 5 pick again next year (along with the Dolphins, Chiefs, Lions and Falcons).

The Raiders reload every year, think about JaMarcus Russell at QB and Elvis Dumervil and Jarvis Moss running him down. I do agree that signing Javon Walker will add fuel to the fire but what did he do for the Broncos, I mean really. The Chiefs will be better than the Raiders, plus think about the amount of money they are spending on Walker, Gibril Wilson, Tommy Kelly and DeAngelo Hall. If they dont win this year or next they are screwed. As much as I hate to say it, the Chargers are the class of the division until e knock them off.

The game you won, you had luck on your side.  If Janikowski made that 2nd attempted FG at the end of regulation, you would've lost.  And the second game, what happened there?  That's right, the Raiders won 34-20.  We were within inches of beating you the first game as Janikowski hit the uprights and missed the FG and the 2nd game we beat you by 14.  So in conclusion, we nearly swepty you last year.  And with our 14 point victory over you, NO you did not nearly sweep us.  For those that don't know a 14 point lead is a 2 possession lead.  Your win could've been a loss but ran into over time.  Our win was more definative.

Notice I never used the time out as an excuse.
