How can you even say Brady is #1. Hell Randy Moss even made Culpepper look good. What a bunch of crap that is.
Peyton Manning is by far the best QB and best player in the game right now. Let's compare the career numbers and when it's all said and done Manning will have as many if not more Super Bowls than Brady. At least Manning has never lost in the SuperBowl.

You can not say it's Randy Moss that makes Brady the top player in the league. He won all his superbowls without him. In fact, he won them all with what has been proven since as a very below average WR core. Peyton, on the other hand, has been playing with some of the top WRs in the NFL his entire career. He has the rings, and now with Moss and Welker, he's got the records. I can only IMAGINE what kind of rings and numbers TB would have if he got to play with Harrison, Wayne, Stokley, D. Clarke, Edge, Addai, etc., etc.. Anyone with that supporting cast should have every record and multiple SBs...the fact that Peyton doesn't further proves he is not the best.

Of course this from a guy whos got Dan Marino/no superbowl rings as his avatar.
Maybe the 1995 Dolphins will come back in time to win the superbowl this year.

Last time I checked, Brady has been to 4 bowls, Manning only one. And last time I checked, Brady beat Manning in playoffs 3 of those times, Peyton beat him once. Last time I checked, Peyton has always had a pro-bowl receiver, Brady not until this season. Hmmm, I see a pattern here.
Brady wins despite not always having the top talent, Peyton consistantly under-performs when the pressure is on. Numbers don't always define a players career. I'll bet if you ask Dan Marino, he'd trade any record he has for one ring...........

It wasn't Moss who helped make Brady a good quarterback, it was the videotapers. Yes, the one Bowl where the whole world was scrutinizing to make sure NE was on the up and up and they lose to Peyton's kid brother. Tisk-tisk.

Matchu86,
The players you mention playing with Manning are all assumed to be very good players, however, how many of them have ever had success without Manning? Edge and Stokely have not done much since they've left Manning.
So, I ask you, is it possible that Manning is making them the great players they are perceived to be? It's very possible.
And if Manning wants his records back, he can get them. The man essentially played in 15 games and sat out #16 when his team had nothing to play for. As we know, Brady did not do this.
The 2 two greatest offenses of all time, statistically, have Randy Moss as a common denominator. Brady never threw for more than 28 TDs without Randy, so yes, I'll give the lion's share of the credit to Randy.
