The Minnesota Timberwolves aren't holding on to O.J. Mayo for long.
Two league sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves have reached an agreement in principle with the Memphis Grizzlies that will send the draft rights to Mayo, Marko Jaric, Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner to the Grizzlies in return for the draft rights to Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.
Personally, I hate this trade. The Grizzlies needed a big man, and they got one of the best big men in the draft in Kevin Love. Now, they are trading him, one of their leading scorers from last season, and two bad players for a guard with an attitude problem and 3 other average players.
I do not like this trade, and the Grizzlies are getting ripped off.

In your opinion, what will be the starting line-up next year? Granted everyone on the roster be healthy... Does Mayo step right in? If so, do they move Gay to the 3 spot, and use Miller at the 4 or keep Warrick at 4 and keep Milicic at 5 or what? I'm confused. I'm not necessarily a fan, but I'm pulling for them... P.S. I agree, they needed a big man to take over for Darko 'cause he's terrible and the should have kept Love.

Hey guys, any chance you think this leads to Memphis trading Mayo to Miami for Beasley. Everything we've heard this week involved Riley coveting Mayo, and not Beasley. Could it happen? If not, who starts at the four next season, and the future? Antoine Walker? Hakim Warrick?

Based on this trade the lineup would be:
C Darko Milicic
PF Hakim Warrick
SF Rudy Gay
SG O.J. Mayo
PG Mike Conley
6th man Donte Greene
I too hate the trade. With Love, Greene, Conley, and Gay Memphis had the makings of a great team. It would just take some time for Greene, and Conley to mature, and this team would have been excellent.
To elaborate on my earlier idea. What would be your feelings toward a trade of Mayo and Conley, for Beasley?

The Grizz also acquired Darrell Arthur. He would've been a lottery pick if it weren't for false reporting on some kidney issues. Plus he got hurt while working out for teams. He's the PF of the future. Very athletic with a midrange game as well. I know Memphis fans will have nightmares when they see him. Lingering effects from the National Championship Game. Memphis basically got 2 lottery picks. Great draft for the Grizz!
