Welcome, friends!  Oklahoma is a wonderful place, where fans actually attend games, the people are nice, and everything...well, its just a little slice of heaven!

Come on down, Sonics.  They only want you when they're told they can no longer have you.  You'll always be welcome here!!!

Now see, this is what I'm talking about.  No need to insult Sonics fans.  They are just a bit upset about having their team taken from them.  Same way we would feel.  As far as attendance, ok, maybe Seattle was not supporting them like they had in the past but there are still some die hard fans.  We as Oklahoman's need to show class and have some pity on how they feel.  The feeling I am sure was worse the LA getting hammered in game 6, well maybe not but you get the point.  If the Sonics come, great! But lets show some class to the people who have invested much into the team.

Seattle fans has supported the Sonics until a bloodsucker came to town to steal the team away. If and when Oklahoma get the Sonics, good luck with that owner.

You arena, despite recent improvements, will *not* be good enough for long. He will want a brand new "Clay Bennett Arena", paid for completely by Oklahoma tax dollars. He will hold you hostage. And for sure -- I have been to Oklahoma and the last thing needed is $500 million in tax money going to fund a new arena. It can be of better use elsewhere.

Take the team, but leave the name. Along the way bleed as much green blood as possible from that retard owner.

So rowdymcrowd, why did you not want the Storm also? Like Aubrey McClendon you did not want "those type of women walking around OKC?" I think your pic says it all about how nice the people are down there like yourself. I would gladly rather have a gay or lesbian couple live next to me than "nice people" like yourself with such narrow minded views. But figures just 20 years ago just take out the gay bashing and insert African American lynching in your pic. No wonder Kevin Durant came out publicly and says he does not want to go to Oklahoma City and you nice people............

thank you soonerfan for being the first oklahoman(?) to show some class.  we have no problem with you getting a franchise, but please, don't take ours.  i know you're excited about getting a team, but this is not the way you should want it to happen.

I think Rowdy is just mad because the Habana Inn wont accept his Access Card anymore.

Soonerfan77 you and I share the same belief. OKC has done thier part to earn a team. But not this team not like this. I think most Okahomans do not relize the cycle most 2 sport cities face. Seattle is a great sports town. Right now the Seahawks are on top, and the M's had a good year last year but have trailed off this year. The Sonics fell to no#3 with a bad team and ownership who plan to steal the team. 10 years ago The Sonics were on top and the Seahawks were threatening to move to LA. It is just a cycle and all cities face it.

Look at Indianapolis. in 2000 you could buy Colts tickets at the gate for the game and the Pacers were selling out. Last year you couldn't touch a colts ticket anywhere near face value and the pacers had one of the NBA's lowest attendence marks.

Just remember how easy it was to get OU tickets in 1999. But in 2000 they were hard to come by.

The Sonics are down now but that is no reason to throw away 41 years of community love.
