I am starting to get pumped up for the upcoming season. I am sadly not going to make a Penn State road game this year (I went to two last year) but my OOC game is going to be either Georgia vs. Bama or Vandy in Athens. There is also a chance I will be able to add Oklahoma (vs. Nebraska) to my football portfolio should they play an early game when I am in OK City. If not, I may revisit Oklahoma State. After going through each Big Ten team's off-season and schedules, I made my initial Big Ten picks and generated a bowl line-up based on them. This is tentative list but wanted to start getting everyone geared up for the season.
BCS Title Game - Ohio State vs. Oklahoma
Rose Bowl - Penn State vs. USC
Citrus Bowl- Wisconsin vs. Florida
Outback Bowl - Michigan State vs. Auburn
Insight Bowl - Illinois vs. Texas A&M
Alamo Bowl - Purdue vs. Texas Tech
Champs Sports - Iowa vs. Virginia
Motor City Bowl - Northwestern vs. Toledo
Word has it that Penn State will be nationally televised at least six times this year. Four games have already been varified, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois). The games against Oregon State and Michigan State (a virtual lock right now) will likely be added with MSU being a prime time matchup in would could be Joe's last home game. If it becomes more and more likely that Joe is going to step down and/or they make a title run, it sounds like ABC is prepared to step up and put every Penn State game minus the three obligated to the Big Ten network (all three will happen in September), on national television.
