Super Mario had the best 2nd half of the NFL season last year? Are you kidding me? How about a guy named Antionio Cromartie? He only had 10 INTs, 3 TDs, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 forced fumble and is a kick a$$ special teams guy.

Oh... I forgot to mentioned that he was only a starter for half the season! Now that's a dominant player... and he's only on Priscos' "honorable mention" list? Flawed list!

Mario Williams showed up for 4 or 5 games like they said he did in college and wasn't around the rest of the season. People will wake up this year.

By the way Wes Welker doesn't need to find how to get open Randy Moss does that for him.

Peppers stopped juicin, the whole Carolina D-line did...and surprise incredible drop in production. i would imagine he'll do better than 2.5 next year but there's no way you can argue the fact that he should be in the top 50 after a year like that

Its people like ever1978 who are going to do the waking up next year.  Mario had plantar fascitis his rookie season, couldnt practice and had to get a shot in his foot just to play.  Last year a light switch went off... and so did he.  The talk in Houston is that he has a chip on his shoulder for getting looked over for the pro bowl and came into OTAs looking even more determined and like a complete monster and was unblockable.

Look for Mario to explode this year.  And what everybody fails to realize is Mario is just as good at stopping the run as he is rushing the passer.  If you look the statistics up Marios side of the Def line was one of the best in the NFL against the run.  Not to mention Amobi Okoye should be better up the middle and Colvin should provide heat opposite of Mario on passing situations.

Biased towards what? Prisco ripped the Mario pick when it happened, and continued to do so all of last year. That was a colossal flip-flop on his part.

Mario Williams had a great season last year but he is not the 6th best player in the nfl and maybe not even a top 50 player considering those that didnt make the top 50

Peppers stopped juicin, the whole Carolina D-line did.Really?

Then when are you going to put down the pipe?

I don't expect smarter responses from a philly fan though.

Freeney had two equally bad years in a row, but he's ranked 25th.

Big Ben had an abysmal year, yet he's ranked high.

Randy Moss had an AWFUL year with Oakland.

Kampman has had 2, maybe 3 good seasons in his 6 year career.

I could keep going.

It's completely retarded to say Peppers is not a top50 player just because of one off year.

To the Texans fans, I don't disagree in the slightest, Mario is a beast, and will continue to be one.  I would say though, he needs several more years of beastly production to overtake Peppers.
