Twins win streak mean 0 because nothing means anything.

Winning 9 striaght over the NL's Diamondbacks, Padres, and Nationals means that we are now 1/2 game out of first. We surrendered 19 runs in those 9 games, an ERA of 2.11. Granted, none of these teams are World Series material, but when the season is over, no one asks who you beat, but how many. Quantity over quality.

The White Sox and Tigers have to keep an eye on us. The Indians and Royals have to look up.

Now the Brewers, who we took 2 of 3 from in MIlwaukee, come to town.

Brendan Harris, Jason Kubel, and Brian Buscher are contributing frequently. Even Mike Redmond comes in (batting 3rd) and delivers two hits!

Winning 9 straight means we can compete with anyone in the AL Central.

It was good  to see that the strong performance of the Twins made the lead story on the MLB home page here today.  The Twins, without a doubt, are the consistent NL team killers, better than any other AL team.  The best part about the article was focusing on the strong fundamentals of this team.  The Twins may be in a weak division, but they still have to go out and play against non-division teams to maintain its standings.
