You mean F1 has a say with how the track is designed? Huh, who would have thought it? The track is a POS, just like Hungary. Trying to "fit" a road course within the confines of an existing track rarely produces the desired effect, unless that desired effect is slow corners in the in-field, a tiny intermediate straight and a lengthy 20,000 RPM shot through the corners and down the front stretch. If that is your desired effect, then mission accomplished. I'm as certain as anyone else that F1 will eventually return to Indy. I doubt that has as much to do with the track than it does with the fact that Bernie knows Tony George will pay to host it faster than anyone else will.
