We haven't done it since last year, thats for sure.

Who knows, maybe this is a turning point for this season. We just need to get Felix back healthy from his ankle soon and we are in good position with our starting pitching with Washburn and Silva pitching well in their last starts.

Go M's!

WOW!!! Why can't we play the Padres every game. If we did we would have the best record in baseball. I know it's wishful thinking but maybe we can go on a roll like the Astros did a couple years ago and some how get back into this thing. They were I think 18 games below .500 and made the playoffs. Well who knows it's still a long season.

Oh and one more thing Ichiro was 5 for 5 so as he goes we go. I still can't beleive that there is jokers on this site that want him traded I've been saying all along that he will turn it around and he has he had a 3 hit game Friday as well.

31-50 first half of the year and played well last 9 games (should have taken 2/3 from Braves, won 5 of last 6) its wishful thinking but theres no reason the M's cant switch that around and go 50-31 for an 81-81 finish and confidence going into next season, with that being said I see no way they can get back into it, going 50-31 is wishful thinking and 81 wins will give them no shot at the wild card, but will make them fun to watch at least and build something for next season

Yeah, nice series and nice road trip for Riggelman and the boys.  I'm thinking it's just because we are playing the national league, but maybe these guys have confidence have can have a nice second half of the year.  Let's aim for a winning record between now and the end of the season and just hope our rebuilding won't take too long

Exactly the second half of the season will be interesting if the team continues to play like they did on the road trip. I think we can play spoiler for some of our AL west rivals although that may mean the hated Yankees or Red Sox get the Wild Card. But I would rather see the Rays get the wild card than the A's.

I think we can get somewhere around 45 or 46 wins in the second half and get close to .500. Finishing within a few games of .500 will give us some momentum going into next season, especially if we get young players playing time to build towards next year.
