It seems to me that he did something, but I do not know how much is true. Everyone makes great points. I do think they should surely gather all the info. If he did the things that are being said he should go. Voice of Reason and All Orange are dead on. The one thing that I question is that he is a great athlete...how did she get away after being thrown down stairs. You know it would be hard to walk much less run.... I also echo the statement why would he chase her outside to punch her in the chest and then let her get in a car and ride away... I think there are more facts to the story

anybody listen to the ESPN show here in Columbia on 93.1 ? Talk about mularkey, these homers are ruining a perfectly good radio opportunity with the homeristic garbage that has no place in public radio broadcasting.
Want to hear how great Spurrier is ? They gotcha covered. Want to know which bigtime bowl the Coots will be in in January, tune in.The kool-aid is served......
Some gamecock fans are informed and realistic and knowledgable.... but they are not calling into this show. On this broadcast you get the quasi-expert student body tool who only started "watching " football because his roomate said it was cool. priceless I tell ya, they should call this the " Happy Hopeful Homercock Show" , and just quit with all the "we are a public forum " nonsense.

just saw in the news that some patriots player was arrested for "allegedly" pointing a gun at his girlfriends head.
its sick, you know. all these athletes, i dont know if its just that theyre so damn competitive and always have to be right, but it seems anytime they get in an argument with their girlfriend, they resort to violence or threats. makes you feel bad, maybe they never learned how to reason or keep your composure in that kind of situation.

Football player DeAndre McDaniel remained a student at Clemson University after appearing Wednesday morning before the university Student Judicial Board.
The Judicial Board has left any and all discipline uo to Coach Tommy Bowden has not addressed McDaniel’s status with the team. Bowden was not available for comment following the hearing. He was on vacation and was scheduled to return to his office Monday.
Looks like another crime will be swept under the rug to protect their football player as is the norm in society these days.

Clemm1988, I agree that it is a tragedy in colllege sports today where a kid can commit a crime and just be slapped on the hand and sent back to practice, but it is still up in the air as to what will happen here and we must contain our disgust until they either terminate McDaniel's scholarship or it is found that he really didn't do that dispicable act to the girl in the first place.

tigerdug while I do agree with you it looks like a slap on the wrist is all he is going to get as is the case with 85% of college athletes who commits a crime that most of us would be doing time for.

This is the second straight Clemson player to face serious charges without so much as even a slap on the wrist from Bowden.
Forgetting that game and season suspensions would be warranted in both cases, neither has, nor will miss so much as a single day of practice.
