Has anyone heard anything about Bale lately?  I haven't heard a peep about him since he broke his hand 2 months ago.  Surely he's close to being healthy by now.

Should he go to the 'pen after rehab?  Who would he replace?

I think we should stash him in Omaha until something happens.  Keep him as a starter just in case that's what we need.  He can always go to the 'pen after starting for a while.

They just transferred him to the 60 day DL a week or so ago, however he has already been on the DL a while, so I don't think that necessarily means that he won't be back for two more months.  However, it was sometime in May when he broke his hand and those things are 6-8 weeks until you can even start throwing again.  Then you have to work yourself back into good enough shape to pitch at the major league level, so I could see it being another month or two before he is back.  We don't necessarily need him right now, so that's fine with me.  It wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit to see him never play for the Royals again.  He just isn't any good.

CBS has Bale out until at least late July - whatever they mean by that...they didn't expand

There is a use for a lefty though.  Gobble has been more like Swallow.   I'd say the next time he stinks up the joint, lets send him down and bring Musser back up.  Musser is being used as a closer for the O Royals and is doing pretty good.   I could care less about Omaha's record, I want the best pitchers in the organization here in KC.

Yeah, Gobble is doing horrible.   Do we have anyone other than Musser who's a lefty that may be ML ready?   Maybe we ought to bring up Musser, like you mentioned Kid, no body cares what place a AAA comes in its all about the parent club.

Hey, Im a lefty!  I could take Gobble place!

Ive got about a 75 mph fastball, and can throw a half a$$ curveball.  I wouldnt even need to be paid that much.  Just give me a ride to the park, a couple hot dogs and all the free beer I can drink.

Ok maybe I would be a LITTLE  expensive. haha
